Sugar Bits - Britney and Adnan Spotted in Santa Barbara

After leaving Cedars-Sinai on Saturday, Britney Spears went to Palms Springs and then popped up in Santa Barbara with Adnan Ghalib, grabbing Starbucks in the afternoon before spending the evening at a bungalow, where they were spotted sharing a lollipop while Britney smoked with no pants on. It's only a matter of time before his story gets sold and we are reading about the details of their trips. - Celeb TV
National Treasure: Book of Secrets took the top spot at the box office for the third week in a row, followed by I Am Legend and Juno. It's nice to have a little indie movie up there with the big blockbusters! - BuzzSugar
Jack Black and his wife Tanya Haden, who have a 19-month-old son named Samuel, are expecting their second child. With a new movie and a baby on the way, looks like Mr. Black has a lot of his plate right now. - E Online
British newcomer Gemma Atherton has been cast as the Bond girl in the upcoming James Bond film, currently filming in London. It's surprising we didn't get rumors for months about speculation on who the next girl would be. - Reuters

Ellen Goes It Alone to Show Off Her Juno

Ellen Page held down the court for all her costars at a screening of Juno in NYC last night. Even without Garner, Bateman or Cera, hopefully, Ellen got her celebration on - Juno was nominated for three Golden Globes, including Best Actress for Ellen herself. It must be quite a surreal experience for the up-and-comer, but it seems like she's got a pretty great head on her shoulders to manage her new found fame. I can't wait to check out Juno for myself this weekend, and if you're on the fence about it check out Buzz's rave review. Anything that can be compared to a newborn puppy sounds good to me.

Garner's One Night Off Broadway Works Juno

The quirky cast of Juno and their friends came out last night for the Hollywood premiere of their movie. Jennifer Garner really took advantage of her night off Broadway by jetting to LA to to get glam and strike a pose with her costars. She and award-winning Ellen Page looked fab in their cute strapless dresses while Jason Bateman looked polished in his button down. Superbad's Michael Cera wore a tie but kept it casual with his coat on and Rainn Wilson buddied up with David Denman from The Office. Megan Fox also went casual but still manages to sex up the red carpet no matter what she does. Allison Janney also sparkled in her Winter-white suit. The indie flick opens tomorrow and Buzz had a chance to check it out so be sure to come back later to read her review. From what we can tell so far, this flick is definitely on our must-see list.

Jennifer Garner Tours Toronto

Prior to her gorgeous VMA appearance, Jennifer Garner had her arms full of Violet and her latest upgraded handbag when arriving at the airport for the Toronto Film Festival. She had a jam-packed weekend with her Juno cast mates, Jason Bateman and Michael Cera. Jennifer changed her look for each occasion and while we don't think we'd ever wear the strapless bow dress, Jennifer looked amazing in it. Ben decided to let Jen shine all on her own for this one, but hopefully he was able to divide his time between supporting both his wife and brother.

Jen Joins Juno

Jennifer Garner has been much happier playing mommy these days, but she is coming to the big screen soon, and she just announced another new project! Garner signed on to join the cast of Juno. Jennifer will play a woman who wants to adopt a child since she can't have kids herself. Apparently it's a coming of age comedy that begins shooting in Vancouver next month. We have a feeling Violet will be headed up north as well.

Critics Choose No Country and Juno

While the Golden Globes show is canceled this year, last night's Critics' Choice Awards brought out some A-Listers in LA. The stars all looked great on the red carpet and inside got down to honoring each other. The writers' strike was the topic of the night, but there were still some light hearted moments up on stage. Katie Holmes looked fabulous (in her toga) giving out an award while Angelina and Brad were ever the popular kids fielding visits at their table from Clooney/Queen Latifah and Casey Affleck. Javier really ran away with the show at the end up three times in a row to accept for himself, the Coens and the movie. He got in an anti-Bush jab, but his real acceptance speech was totally sweet. Check out the full list of winners on Buzz and then get to voting in our Golden Globes ballot. Just because the show won't be the same, we're still here for the fun and prizes!

Robert Pattinson Even Looks Sexy Drinking and Texting

Robert Pattinson only had eyes for his iPhone last weekend as he partied on Friday at Richards nightclub in Vancouver. Despite being surrounded by ladies, he was busy texting and holding his beer. It was a typically busy weekend for Robert, and he capped things off with an appearance at Canada's Juno Awards on Sunday - which is why he had to skip out on the Kids' Choice Awards back in LA. Too bad Pocket Edward couldn't have picked up one of the items on his packed schedule, but for the Twi-hards only the real Robert will do. Hot.

Tara, Diablo and John Introduce United States + 90210 News!

It was Showtime's turn to present their newest show this morning at the TCAs, born from the mind of Steven Spielberg, The United States of Tara. After a video introduction from Spielberg himself, the cast and producers sat down to answer questions on the show. Toni Collette stars as a woman with Dissociative Identity Disorder, which her family and friends accept and work with rather than hide. Afterwards, Diablo revealed to Buzz that she'll be guest starring on 90210! Plus, she looked fantastic and a bit toned down from her Juno promoting days. I thought John Corbett would always be Aidan to me, but maybe from here on out I'll love him as Max. Here are some highlights from the panel and check out even more about the show over on Buzz:

Diablo on the subject matter: "This is not the kind of series you can base on imagination. When you’re dealing with a sensitive topic like this you have to do your homework…There are certainly people who have lived their lives this way…In this case I wanted to make sure that it was completely grounded."
Toni on taking the part: "I only ever respond to the material. I never had any aspirations to work in TV, but as soon as I closed the last page of the script I turned to my husband and said ‘I have to do this’ it’s a complete dream for an actor to play so many parts. . . I was most nervous about creating Buck [the male alter], I didn’t want him to be a cliché in anyway. There's a specific friend I observed. All of the characters are so complex and whole, you don’t have to travel that far to make it real."
John on his part: "When I finished reading the script I turned to Toni’s husband and said ‘I have to do this’."

Ellen Page Looks Very Blue

Adorable Juno star Ellen Page was seen leaving the Late Show with David Letterman yesterday dressed in head to ankle blue. She did cut the color with those cool red Converse shoes. After reading Buzz's rave review of Juno I made sure to see the film over the holidays and it was the best $10 I've spent in a theater since Bourne. Ellen Page was fabulous as the quirky pregnant teenager and how could you not fall in love with Michael Cera - no wonder he won our rising star poll. For those of you who have yet to see Juno, it should be part of your New Year's resolutions.
