Before the Grammys took over last night, the stars got a chance to get warmed up at Clive Davis's annual pre-party on Saturday night. Whitney Houston gave her all up on stage, along with Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson and Leona Lewis. Chris and Rihanna looked lovey dovey and happy, just a few hours before his shocking alleged assault.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Duhamel looked like they were enjoying each other at a Vanity Fair party at Chateau Marmont in LA last night. Fergie was a social butterfly in her bow dress, running around talking to Akon, Kim Kardashian, and the Hilton sisters. Paris matched her sparkly purse and shoes although declined to bring latest fling, Doug, while gossip continues that Benji has also been mingling with The Hills and is dating Audrina Patridge.

More, more, more Grammys fun! The after parties rolled on last night, and I can't say I blame everyone for wanting to let loose after that marathon show. Rihanna and her friend?

The ladies of the music world got all fancied up for the Grammys last night, but we were left feeling a bit disappointed. Rihanna looked cute as part of the blue brigade, which also included Alicia Keys and Nelly Furtado. Fergie stood out in her yellow number but we couldn't take our eyes off of Beyonce, who drew more attention with her new super blond highlights than with her sparkly dress.

Some of the biggest names in the music industry came out last night for the Spirit of Life Award Dinner in LA, honoring Universal Music Group CEO Doug Morris for his commitment to philanthropy. Rihanna, Mariah, and Adam Levine were just a few who showed off their vocal talents on stage, while Gwen Stefani and Sheryl Crow cheered from the audience. Nick Cannon was right there for Mariah after her performance, but Rihanna was without her constant companion Chris Brown, making us wonder if there's any truth to the rumors that she's got a new man.
