Britney Spears proved to be ratings gold for her appearance on How I Met Your Mother this week, and she may already be lining up another small-screen gig. According to OK! Magazine, she might walk the orange carpet at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday night.
It Was Another Slimy Kids' Choice Awards
After showing off their looks on the orange carpet, the stars got down to the real fun at the Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday night. Miley Cyrus was the night's biggest winner taking home the awards for Favorite TV Actress and Favorite Female Singer, but she managed to avoid being slimed. Orlando Bloom was not as lucky as he got the night's biggest sliming honor.
Celebs Get Their Slime On For Kids' Choice Awards
Not even Justin himself was safe from the slime at this weekend's Kids' Choice Awards - one of the more laid back (and definitely messiest) awards shows that Hollywood has to offer. JT took home the award for favorite male singer (though he did lose his Best Burp title to the whole audience's belch), while Dakota and Adam Sandler snagged orange blimps for male and female favorite movie star. Winning isn't everything, though - a few lucky presenters including (a seriously buff) Steve Carell and Tobey Maguire took part in the sliming, too.
Casual Rules on the Kids' Choice Awards Orange Carpet
Nickelodeon hosted the 2008 Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday night, and similar to last year, the big stars — like Will Smith — brought their families for a stroll down the orange carpet. Wannabe Award winner Cameron Diaz, America Ferrera and Ashlee Simpson were just a few of the ladies who got girlie in dresses, while Rihanna and Abigail Breslin went more casual in jeans. Everyone's a Winner at the Kids' Choice Awards
The big party on Saturday night was all about the kids who were cheered on by big stars like Harrison Ford and Will Smith. Jessica Alba glowed in green with a huge grin as she accepted her award for Favorite Female Movie Star. Other winners included Harry Potter, American Idol, and of course Miley and the Jonas Brothers.
Should Chris Brown Be On The Kids' Choice Awards Ballot?
After much talk about Chris Brown's nomination at the Kids' Choice Awards, the singer's name has been withdrawn from the competition. He recently updated his MySpace asking for votes, and just yesterday Nick said it was planning to let the kids decide. There are conflicting reports about whether it was Chris or the network that pulled his name, but today his rep released a statement saying:
"Chris very much appreciates the support of his fans and the honor they have paid him in the way of nominations for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song.
JT Leaving the Sexy Back at Home for Kid's Choice
Justin looks more cute than sexy for these promo pics for The Kid's Choice Awards which he's hosting on March 21st. The singer has no problem keeping it clean for the kids. He says, "There's nothing like Kids' Choice for 'un-adult-erated' fun.
