Kiefer Talks Torture and Getting Turned on — 24 Is Back!
Kiefer Sutherland and the rest of the cast of 24 took the stage at this morning's Fox TCA panel, and while the questions kept coming back to whether or not the show condones torture, they managed to get a few good jokes in. After this week's four-hour season premiere and last month's TV movie 24: Redemption, are you on board with the new season? The show's producers and cast seem hopeful that a little break has made the show and Jack Bauer reinvigorated and ready to excite us.

The cast of 24 turned out in full force on Monday for the show's Season 5 DVD release party, and the actors have plenty of reasons to celebrate. The sixth season kicks off Jan. 14 with a two-night, four-hour premiere!!!
Muslim Groups Upset with 24's Lack of Imagination
Keifer Sutherland took a break from filming 24 (at least we think he's on a break, but he is still rocking the Jack Bauer signature faded black sweatshirt and scowl, so who knows) to enjoy the Santa Monica sun the other day. The sixth season of 24 started off with its fill of excitement, but not everyone is so happy with the show.

Joshua and Kiefer Introduce Us to Fox's Fall Schedule
Joshua Jackson was up bright and early in NYC yesterday to attend the Fox Upfronts presentation. Fringe has already been renewed for another season but you can check out the full Fall schedule here and get a peek at some of the new shows. Other Fox stars like David Boreanaz and Gordon Ramsay joined in the party — even Kiefer Sutherland came by and made an awkward joke on stage about his arrest last week.

Kiefer Sutherland Is Behind Bars
Kiefer Sutherland begins his 48 day sentence tonight after turning himself into Glendale city jail. He is serving his time for his second DUI, this one from September. The actor will get his own cell and have to participate in daily chores like laundry and kitchen duty and will wear the typical orange jumpsuit.
The Emmy Highlights
Conan was back for a second time to host the Emmy Awards. The show was more exciting than in past years. Not one show won everything which is always nice.

Sugar Bits - Kiefer Sutherland Sentenced to 48 Days
- Kiefer Sutherland plead no contest yesterday and was sentenced to a total of 48 days in jail for his current DUI and a probation violation back in December. Knowing Jack Bauer (okay, the LA jail system and celebrity DUIs), he'll probably be released from "overcrowding" before he knows it. - TMZ
- David Hasselhoff was briefly hospitalized yesterday after relapsing and drinking again.
