Who Would You Most Like to See Guest Judge American Idol?
American Idol auditions are underway and while we've already seen Victoria Beckham step in as a guest judge in two locations, the producers are looking to fill Paula's shoes with a series of female pop stars. Today Joe Simpson shot down rumors that Jessica was angling for a spot, but it got us thinking about some other ladies we'd like to see in the empty seat. The closest Carrie Bradshaw got to magazine editing was writing freelance for Vogue, but inside the March issue of Harper's Bazaar Sarah Jessica Parker channels the look of legendary editor of both publications, Diana Vreeland, for a photo shoot. Madonna took a break from her Sticky and Sweet tour and put on some crazy gun-heeled shoes to premiere her directorial debut, Filth and Wisdom in NYC last night. Lindsay Lohan must have enjoyed her Sunday night at the material girl's show, because she went right from her leggings launch to the red carpet while Samantha headed back to LA amid rumors of trouble in their relationship. Dolce and Gabbana cohosted the event leading to some decked out ladies like a gorgeous Jessica Alba out for the night without Cash and a glowing pregnant in purple Naomi Watts.

It was ladies' night at the Rockefeller Center Loft and Garden with cocktail dresses and hot shoes galore. Piaget hosted the Limelight Paris-New York jewelry collection for the beautiful familiar faces including Maggie Gyllenhaal, Liv Tyler, Emmy Rossum and an extra light haired looking Leighton Meester. At the party Leighton talked about feeling comfortable but a little bit sexy as well as revealing some about her new royal Gossip Girl love interest.
Hilary, Lucy and January Step Out For Manolos
Nothing brings out the ladies quite like shoes and Manolo Blahnik was just the man to do it with his Rodeo Walk of Style party in Beverly Hills Thursday night. Hilary Duff posed pretty while Lucy Liu possibly eyed some new footwear for her role on Dirty Sexy Money. January Jones stepped out of her Betty Draper Mad Men wardrobe for the event though she was still glowing from their Emmy win.
Stars Get a Jumpstart on Stocking Up on Emmy Swag
The Emmys aren't until Sunday, but a bunch of stars already got the party started at the style lounges in LA yesterday. Ashley Tisdale, Bar Refaeli, and Stephanie Pratt were just a few of the ladies who took advantage of the opportunity to stock up on new shades, bags, and shoes among other sweet swag. Without Sienna by his side, Balthazar Getty got some male bonding time with Eric Dane before they support their respective shows on Sunday night.
Chopard Trophies Are More Than Just Jewels
The Cannes Film Festival kept on kicking last night with yet another formal affair. Chopard was handing out trophies to Omar Metwally, director Spike Lee and Tang Wei and considering the sponsor, there was no shortage of serious bling being worn. Most of the ladies kept it simple in black or white but sexy Salma Hayek stood out in her dark green dress.
