Was It Wrong of LC to Expose The Hills?

Lauren Conrad was up early this morning to chat with the ladies of The View and promote LA Candy. When asked about Spencer's apology on The Hills, Lauren revealed that it was staged and she wasn't actually on the other end of the phone call. In the past she's said that the show's producers were pushing a Heidi reconciliation on her, and it's definitely not the first time we've heard about scenes being fake. On the other hand, it's still a little surprising to hear it from LC herself so tell us - was it wrong of Lauren to expose the reality show?

The girls tried their hands at a little lax, but it looks like they felt more comfortable posing with their sticks in their swimsuit cover-ups. The Celebrities Bring Their Sidekicks and Phones Out to Party

It was couples' night for a handful of stars at T-Mobile's Sidekick LX launch party in LA yesterday. Pete Wentz took a break from his tour to reunite with Ashlee Simpson, who tweeted about how great it was to see DJ AM and Travis Barker together. Doug Reinhardt came attached at the hip with Paris Hilton as usual, and two of his exes, Lauren Conrad and Amanda Bynes, were both celebrating as well. Heidi Montag updated her status excitedly all night long while her unrealistic rap star husband Spender Pratt took a break from fielding calls after posting his phone number on Twitter. Kristin Cavallari is ready to spice up The Hills, but last night the show's original girls were perfectly red carpet ready.

Lauren Is Almost Ready to Hike Up Out of the Drama

Lauren Conrad ducked back into her apartment building after a hike with a friend in Runyon Canyon yesterday. There are only a few more episodes left with Lauren and according to his Twitter, Spencer is ready to see Kristin Cavallari step in. While LC seems pretty immune to the drama these days, the same can't be said for The Hills where she was put in a tough situation by Stephanie at work. The rest of the cast also dealt with their own conflicts as Heidi faced off with Spencer's pretty bartender, Audrina broke things off with Justin Bobby over a shortened meal, and the phones caused trouble as usual - all of which is a reminder to Lauren why she's leaving the show behind.

Lauren Keeps Her Drama on TV and Relaxes With Kyle

Lauren Conrad and Kyle Howard ran errands in LA together yesterday, but she had to deal with the usual drama on last night's episode of The Hills. LC laid down the law when Stephanie Pratt messed up answering the phone at work, while Audrina had awkward run-ins with a scruffy-looking Justin Bobby out on the town. The cast was looking beautiful, as usual, and we might be seeing them even more dressed up at Heidi and Spencer's rumored wedding this weekend, though Lauren says she probably won't make an appearance.

Heidi and Lauren Talk Plastics at Barbie's Birthday Party

Heidi Klum played host at Barbie's Malibu Dream House on Monday night to celebrate the iconic doll's 50th birthday. Another California blond, Lauren Conrad, struck her signature pose on the carpet with Lo Bosworth and while LC may be ending an era on The Hills she's used to change in the cell phone department. At the event, Heidi joked that she hopes she looks as good as Barbie at 50, though she said she'd rather not go the route of cosmetic surgery, saying, "I don't think I'm gonna go there. . .I think I'm gonna get older with wrinkles, a few of them here and there." Lauren admitted she'll probably do it someday, "I'm sure when I get older I'm gonna want a little." Lo added, "A little nip/tuck...a little Botox." Whatever choice the ladies make, this week it was all about the ultimate plastic woman, Barbie.

Lauren and Audrina Respond Justin Bobby Hookup Rumors

Lauren Conrad looked engrossed in her phone conversation out running errands with Lo in LA earlier today. Considering the drama that's going down with the rumors she hooked up with Justin Bobby, it's no wonder Lauren has her BlackBerry in hand. Audrina responded on her blog saying, "I'm not sure what to believe. Though Justin and I have not been exclusive for quite some time, these rumors are very confusing and hurtful. I can't comment on whether they are true or false." Lauren then blogged on her MySpace in response, implying that Spencer spread the story and saying:

The rumor I'm referring to is that I "hooked up" with Audrina's non- boyfriend Justin.(eww.) This accusation is insulting on so many levels. I'm being accused of being a bad friend, a slut and a liar all at once. It would actually be funny to me if people weren't taking it seriously. Do they think I was swept away by his wonderful manners and his commitment to my friend? I love it when guys burp in my face. So hot! Seriously?? I have never even been in the same place as Justin when Audrina wasn't around. I have been there for Audrina for years of ups and downs with this guy. Now she is accusing me of hooking up with him?? It's the most awkward position to put me in because I can't defend myself without putting both her and Justin down.

Bottom line, I did not and would never hook up with Justin.

The worse thing is knowing that a friend, that I've known for years and even shared a home with, thinks that I'm capable of that kind of betrayal. I would NEVER hurt a friend like that!

Lindsay, Samantha, and Emmy Stars Celebrate the Night Away

After the highs and lows of the Emmys show the party really got started. For many, the first stop was the Governor's Ball like Heidi in yet another gown before the other bashes. Some were off to the ET/People bash while others went to hear Samantha Ronson spin at Kress nightclub for the TV Guide soiree. Lindsay Lohan came along for the ride and acted as a pillow for Samantha after a long weekend of gigs. Best Dressed candidate Hayden kept posing pretty before tonight's big Heroes return. The Mad Men folks had a lot to celebrate making history with their Best Drama Series win. In the press room the cast were clearly loving every second of it taking photos of each other on their iPhones, Jon Hamm pretending to light a cigarette as an homage to the Don Draper inside him while January Jones talked about how the first season Betty was "imploding" and this season she's "exploding" - and it looks like they all exploded a bit partying the night away with the rest of the television stars.

Lauren Conrad and Jason Wahler's Checkered Reunion

Lauren Conrad got together with a blast from the past, her ex Jason Wahler, at Jerry's Deli in LA last night. Judging from LC's quote last week, that's where you go with guy friends (as opposed to on a date) so I don't think any flame was rekindled. Maybe she just wanted to see someone comfortable after the dramatic weekend. These photos aren't the only thing taking us on a walk down memory lane - last night's episode of The Hills was about looking at the past and what could have been. Audrina couldn't get off the phone with Justin Bobby. Over drinks and lunches, it looked like Lauren and Heidi were missing each other, but a reconciliation still seems far off with Spencer around. So did last night's episode make you miss the days when Lauren and Heidi were the ones doing their make up, picking outfits to go out and gossiping together?

No Lemons, Just Lemonade For Lauren Conrad

Lauren Conrad took a break from showing off her cute, trendy wardrobe to dress down in sweats in LA yesterday. After stopping by Whole Foods, LC and Lo grabbed Chloe for a workout in Runyon Canyon. The once tiny puppy is so big now, which hopefully means she's over her shoe-eating phase! LC has been everywhere these days and there seems to be no slowing down, including a guest spot on Greek. Luckily, Lauren seems to have already figured out how to keep the perfect balance between work, play, and staying fit, even as the phone calls keep rolling in.
