Ashley Olsen Chooses Her Shoes Carefully
Ashley Olsen piled on the layers for a trip to Barneys in LA earlier this week. With a friend by her side, Ashley toted her black Hermes as she strolled through the shoe department. She's back in California after spending a few weeks in NYC, where she joined Sexiest Man Alive Johnny Depp recently to celebrate Tim Burton at the MoMA.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner arrived at LAX at the same time last night, all headed out of town to continue their New Moon promotional blitz around the world. The trio and all their costars put in a long weekend of work in LA, plowing through interviews, big fan events and even making time for some philanthropic appearances. Kristen was entranced in her music as she made her way through the crowds while Robert was layered up for his arrival.
Ben Keeps Rolling in Boston While Jen Heads Back to LA
Ben Affleck kept warm in layers as he continued to film The Town in Boston yesterday. His costar Rebecca Hall was slightly luckier, as she worked indoors with Ben directing the scene from outside. Ben was able to enjoy lots of family time on set while his girls were in Massachusetts, but Jennifer and their daughters are back in LA.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Stick Together in Work and Travel
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen had the layers piled on Tuesday when they arrived at LAX. They're back in California after a few weeks in NYC, where they debuted their new Olsenboye range for JC Penny on Good Morning America. The twins also took to the city streets in a customized treat truck to show off their line, which is set to include bags and shoes as well.
Hollywood Comes Out to Get Lucky in LA
Lauren Conrad hit the red carpet alongside a bevy of beautiful ladies for the Lucky Magazine and Madewell Fall Denim Tour at the Bar Marmont last night in LA. Hollywood starlets from all over TV and film came out to celebrate the new line of denim, although for most of the atendees, short skirts were the dress code for the evening. Kristen Bell looked like the picture of health in her layered look, while Mandy Moore showed of yet another new hair transformation.
Johnny Depp May No Longer Answer to Captain Jack Sparrow
Johnny Depp donned multiple layers while on the set of a music video for the band Babybird in Herts, UK, on Tuesday. He was working alongside the lead singer Stephen Jones and Johnny's Public Enemies costar Stephen Graham. Next up for Johnny was supposed to be a fourth installment of Pirates of the Caribbean, but after Disney studio chief Dick Cook resigned last week, Johnny said he was losing enthusiasm in doing the movie.
Mary-Kate Always Has Layers Ready
Perhaps Mary-Kate Olsen didn't get the memo that it was hot in California this weekend because she was dressed for cold in her scarf and knit hat in LA on Saturday. She stopped to put some gas in her Prius and chat on her phone before getting behind the wheel. These days MK spends more of her time in NYC with her boy Nate Lowman than back on the West Coast, but she'll always be an LA girl at heart.
Life's a Beach For Sienna Miller Down Under
Sienna Miller was decked out in gray layers for a walk along Sydney's Bondi Beach yesterday morning. She's in Australia gearing up for the release of GI Joe there on August 6. Sienna made the rounds at the MTV Movie Awards in June on the arm of her costar Channing Tatum, who will join her on the promotional tour as a newlywed.
Julia Roberts Goes Heavy on the Layers
Julia Roberts chose comfort over style (ugh, Uggs) as she made her way through NYC yesterday. She dressed it up a bit after a visit to the hair salon but big coats were clearly keeping her warm. Julia's all about the family these days, but we still wish we could have seen her strut her stuff down the Oscar red carpet with her fellow A-listers.
