The Cute Cast Of License to Wed Hits The Red Carpet

John and Mandy flashed big smiles on the red carpet for the big premiere of License to Wed. This isn't our favorite look on either of them (Oh Mandy Mandy Mandy what's with that dress?), but we've got to admit that these two make quite the adorable pair - even co-star Robin Williams agrees that both Mandy and John can attract audiences based on their cute factor alone. He said, "That John Krasinski, he's a totally attractive man, and I was happy to be in the same scenes with him. And Mandy Moore, she's just so damn beautiful, and if I was 20 years younger I'd still be too old for her!" Sounds like Robin is the perfect guy to have around for a little self-esteem boost. We bet these three had tons of fun cracking each other up on the set. Check out this new clip of the movie, and next week to read Buzz's review.

John Has a License To Be Cute

Mandy has been everywhere promoting License To Wed lately, so it's only fair that we give her co-star John some attention too. He's looking all cute and stylish for a photoshoot - we have decided to overlook the repeat cardigan offense. We have to admit that the more we see of John, the more we are liking him in the role of a leading man - which is good, because maybe he'll be lucky enough to steal a few scenes away from George once Leatherheads hits the theaters.

John Gets Some Help From His Office Buddies

John and Mandy continue to make their rounds through NYC promoting License to Wed. After TRL, they hit The Sauce as well as The Today Show. We're big fans of Mandy's so we love the double duty of movie and album talk show round ups. We're also fans of John's so we're loving the fact that they are co-stars. John grows on us more each day and our favorite star of the Office spoke about his first experience as the leading man in a film. Here's more:

Q: Can you talk to me a little bit about working with your 'Office' castmates on "License to Wed?" Was it fun or do you need a break from them at this point?

Krasinski: No, not at all, I would never need a break from them. In fact they were a really nice sort of lifeline to have. Because I was really really nervous, it was my first big role. So coming in and seeing them all there, just made it feel like home and made it feel really comfortable. We work well together, we have a really good time. I wouldn't even call it work, just kind of hanging out.

Sounds like John had lots of support to get him through his first big movie. We wonder if he had the opportunity to put any of his fellow castmate's scripts in Jell-O, Jim Halpert style.

Mandy is Licensed to Wed (On the Big Screen Anyway)

Mandy was a range of emotions as she returned to LAX the other day from Vancouver where she's filming some scenes from her upcoming film, License to Wed. The film also stars Robin Williams who plays a wacky marriage counselor that puts Mandy and The Office's John Krasinski through a series of rigorous relationship challenges before they get married. The movie sounds kind of cute but then again Mandy is involved so we'd expect nothing less.

Mandy Moore has been working overtime lately, promoting her new album and movie. Yesterday she looked super cute in her black and white dress, but today she decided to get a little more colorful. Mandy was joined by her ever adorable License to Wed co-star, John Krasinski to talk about their new film on TRL. We're thinking she probably plugged her new album Wild Hope also, especially since TRL is supposed to be a show about music and all. Biggest Headlines of 2008: Jay-Z and Beyonce Secretly Wed

We've been counting down the most biggest headlines of 2008, and we'll be revealing more throughout the month of December. We hope you enjoy this look back at some of the posts and stories that created the most buzz throughout the year.

Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z had been together for six years before their hush-hush wedding in April. Rumors had been flying for years that they were finally going to make things official, and they reached fever pitch after reports emerged that they'd applied for a marriage license in New York State. Jay-Z was seen sharing a toast with friends after a show in Toronto on April 3, leading many to believe the big day was at hand. On April 4, (4/4/08 - Jay-Z and Beyonce share the lucky number 4) everyone was expecting a ceremony, especially since Beyonce's Destiny's Child bandmates released a video that looked possibly like a bachelorette party. Later that day, the story was confirmed - Jay-Z and Beyonce had tied the knot at his NYC apartment in front of family and friends, including Solange Knowles and Gwyneth Paltrow.

The celebration didn't last long, and by the next day Jay-Z was off to his next concert in NC. The obligatory pregnancy rumors were quick to follow, but so far it doesn't look like there's a little Carter on the way - though Jay-Z and Beyonce were said to have purchased a new family home in suburban NY. It wasn't until August that Beyonce finally gave everyone a peek at her blingin' wedding ring, a sure sign that she and Jay-Z are increasingly comfortable showing their love in public. Their wedding was a long time in the making, but hopefully the good times are just beginning for Beyonce and Jay-Z.

Britney Gets Involved in More Car Drama

Britney Spears is having an amazing week with her iTunes No. 1 and the video still to come tomorrow, but yesterday wasn't as much fun. During a shopping trip, the pop star was involved in a car accident with a paparazzo in another vehicle. It's unclear who was at fault, but the good news is that Brit was in the backseat instead of behind the wheel. Meanwhile, her lawyer rejected a plea deal for a $150 fine and a year of probation and opted to go to court for her driving without a license case. The trial will take place on October 15, and her attorney is hoping that Brit will walk away with no more than a $10 fine since she corrected the violation. Britney is no stranger to drama but we'd hate to see her good streak interrupted by a mistake from her past.

Tom & Katie Wedding I Do's

The big day has arrived and all are headed to the castle to see Tom and Katie say I Do. Check out Posh, Brooke, and JLo all dolled up as they leave their hotel to head to the big event. Katie was at the castle with Suri awaiting Tom's arrival. He came separately and gave a wave from his car. As expected, controversy around the couple and their big day is here. Apparently they have not gotten a marriage license yet so they may not even be married after this very expensive event that is taking place right now. Here's more:

The TomKat marital extravaganza was in danger of becoming a $2.5 million farce as the clock ticked past the deadline for the celebrity couple to present the paperwork that would make their marriage legal.

As the sun set yesterday on the majestic medieval castle where they plan to wed, there was no sign that Tom Cruise or his beloved bride, Katie Holmes, had applied for a civil marriage license.

The couple, who are expected to hold a Scientologist wedding service at Castello Odescalchi today, now face the distinct possibility their union might be recognized only by a church that believes in aliens - and not the law.

"Wedding? What wedding?" the parish priest of Bracciano, where the couple plan to wed, told the Times of London. "There has been no application for a civil marriage, let alone a religious ceremony."

Fabrizio D'Agostino, a spokesman for the Church of Scientology in Rome, said the church had not been contacted by anyone about the Cruise-Holmes wedding.

He said an exchange of vows with a Scientology rite is not legally recognized in Italy and would have to be preceded or followed by a civil union. Rome's mayor had given the couple until yesterday to bring the necessary papers to city hall.

U.S. citizens planning to marry in Italy must present their passports, birth certificates and an affidavit that there is no impediment to their marriage. The documents need to be translated into Italian and certified.

I say who cares. I think it's great these two are about to celebrate their love and new family. We can't wait to see Katie in her Armani gown. Stay tuned for more Tom and Katie wedding details and pics throughout the weekend.

The couple has always denied the speculation, but People reports that they've taken out a marriage license in New York. If this is true, then they'll have 60 days to tie the knot, so tell us - do you think Beyonce and Jay-Z will really get married?
