Samantha Has a Bittersweet Serenade For Lindsay
Lindsay Lohan held on and followed Samantha Ronson out after a performance at a restaurant in LA last night. Samantha gave her DJ skills a rest, instead she showed off her talents as a singer/guitarist, which she formerly demonstrated on the Mean Girls soundtrack. This time, she dedicated a song to Lindsay saying, "You get your heart broken sometimes and then you unbreak it and break it again."
Lindsay Aims High With Her Duet Ambitions
Lindsay Lohan was out in NYC yesterday after her big Monday night out at the launch of her 6126 collection and Madonna's premiere. She switched from her holey leggings into a plain black pair, though she was still sporting her Madonna-esque curls from the evening before. A hairstyle might not be the only thing LL and Madonna have in common for long, as Lindsay has pitched the idea of recording a song together.
Lindsay's Got Her Controversy-Free Coat
There's no such thing as a quiet week for Lindsay Lohan. Between the Dina mom of the year headlines and the story of her stealing some girl's fur coat from a party (she returned it) it's always hard to avoid the negative Lohan news of the day. Of course, it was no skin off LL's back as she spent her day around LA with Samantha Ronson.
Lindsay and Kate Moss Strip
Gawker reported yesterday the two were hanging out again in NYC. Today, Page Six reports a lot more happened that night and they ended up at Scores! Lindsay has been laying low (well, sort of) in rehab in Utah and the latest in her healing process is to meet with her estranged father. The terrible battle between Dina and Michael Lohan has been just one of the many reasons she has stayed away from him. That and his crazy ways of communicating from jail, via letters and odd songs.
Lindsay Lohan Meets the Parent
After spending Tuesday night with her family in NYC, Lindsay Lohan was back to doing what she does best: shopping. Yesterday she was joined by her sister, Samantha Ronson, and Samantha's mother, the British socialite Ann Dexter-Jones. LL's family thinks highly of Samantha, so hopefully she and Ann had a little time to bond as well.
Jessica Really Appeals to the Teens
Apparently Jessica and Cash didn't have time to take advantage of being in Paris after Eva and Tony's wedding, because the two were at the airport on their way out yesterday morning. And don't they just look thrilled as usual (though I'm loving her coat)? Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer may have been a bit overshadowed by the other Summer blockbusters, but the Teen Choice Awards committee took notice and nominated Jessica for 3 awards: Hissy Fit, Female Hottie, Action Adventure Actress.
Everyone Sings Their Own Praises at the MTV Movie Awards
We spent two hours watching movie plug after movie plug at the MTV Movie Awards last night, and while the show had some funny shining moments, we still missed the spoofs. We actually expected a lot more Love Guru so I was thrilled to see the return of Wayne and Garth instead (yay for Dana Carvey!). The stars of the night were Johnny Depp who proved his acting range as he humbly racked up awards for Best Villain and Best Comedic Performance, and the Tropic Thunder boys who got their laughs with funny banter and Iron Man idolization.
