Nov 22 2008 - 8:00am The fate of
Lipstick Jungle seems to be up in the air these days. First we heard
it was canceled but Brooke Shields was quick to
deny the reports. Whether or not it's still on the chopping block, Robert Buckley used his sexy
shirtless bod to make this little video, perhaps as a ploy to get some new fans.

1Ugh, that show annoys the crap out of me. Lipstick Jungle wishes it was Sex and the City but it failed. Miserably.
2I don't watch much television. Having a very busy career I don't have much time to sit and watch television. This show is one of the few that I do make the time to watch and if I don't have the time I record it. I would hate to see it go. It is so refreshing to see a show about successful and fashionable women in their 30s and 40s. It's not often that we, older women, are able to see that on television.
3It might seem like Sex in the City, because they share the same writer - at least book wise.
4I like the show, and look forward to getting a chance to watch each new episode after it's been recorded. But I think I watch it mostly to see what the women are wearing and how they're styled... the friendships don't seem real yet. Then again, it took a few seasons for the friendships on SATC to seem genuine.
5And, has Wendy worn the dress that won the Project Runway challenge yet? I don't think I've missed any episodes, but I haven't seen it yet. I am wondering why she hasn't been shown in it yet, and if it will actually happen now that the show is up in the air.
6if anyone is interested, the lipstick jungle writer's blog has a link to an online petition to keep the show alive.

7I tried to watch it because I love SATC, but it's just not the same.
8The show is ok, I don't care if it stays or goes. Robert Buckley is overrated in hotness and acting. Sad when the hottest guy on the show is Andrew McCarthy, of all people.
9i dont get the comparison to sex and the city. its nothing like it. i loooooove this show and would be so disappointed if it were canceled.
10I love this show, the characters, the fashion, everything is on point. I hope that the network doesn't end the show!
11there was some time that i didn't feel as into the show as i was last season, but now i'm getting more into it and i would love to see it last for a bit longer. i know that there are a lot of folks like me who are rooting for victory and joe to get back together and now that there's the added dynamic of nico and kirby who are sooo different and now the baby.....there's just so much more that they can do!
12I love this show!
13I never cared for it. I want Eli Stone back. That was one of my favorites.
14Nope never watched it. I'd rather save Pushing Daisies!!!!
15i hope this show sticks around. i know it could be better, but it actually is really good. And, though it is somewhat flawed, it is one of the few shows currently on that are centered around strong women and their relationships and careers.
16I really like it! Hope it doesn't go. Also, its by the same writer as sex and the city so yeah, they will seem a bit similar at times.
17I love the show. it is similar to Sex and the City in that they portray women in really strong friendships. I want to see that on TV instead of making women catty to one another and very selfish and shallow. All 3 women characters are great and bring something different to the table. The show is worth saving and always worth watching.
18Nope. I don't follow this show but I only watch the scene when Robert Buckley is topless.
19I love this show. It is similar to SATC, but I think I almost like it as much. I love Nico and Victory and Wendy is okay, but yes, I love it. Love it!
20I like it. It's so much less annoying than SATC. I've tried to watch that show, and I just can't tolerate it. I enjoy Lipstick Jungle though.
21Nope.
22I never watch it, so I don't really care if it gets cancelled.
23I love this show. It's really not trying to be SATC, so I get annoyed when people say I don't like it, because it's not SATC. It's not supposed to be! Why would Candace Bushnell write the same story twice? Give this show a chance!!! This is the only show I try to watch live, because I can't wait to watch it later on my DVR! It takes me weeks to watch most other recorded shows.
24I LOVE this show. And if you don't like, just don't watch it. Why you have to wish to a show get canceled if you don't watch it? For example, i don't watch Pushing Daisies, but i wish the fans get what they wish for, more episodes. If i don't like, i tune something else.
And people, it's from the same author.
25I can understand tuning in because we liked what came out of a Candace Bushnell book-turned-tvshow in the past, but it's not reasonable to expect the same thing. It's a completely different story, with a completely different cast, on a completely different network. It's pointless to compare this show to SATC.
If anything, I think this show has only gotten better and better since it first started. Surely, people are gaining interest, not losing!
26never watched it
27I'm in the minority that preferred Cashmere Mafia. Victory's character killed Lipstick in 4 episodes for me. Couldn't stomach her enough to keep watching.
28I've never watched this show, but it looks semi-interesting. I think Andrew McCarthy looks great.
29This is the ONLY show on right now that I actually go out of my way to watch!
It has smart, sexy, beautiful women who deal with real relationships and real careers.
I will completely loose faith in network television if this goes of the air...
30no
31Saw a few episodes but it didn't interest me enough to keep watching, so i had to vote 'no'.
32don really watch it
33love it and want it to stay around!
