Taylor Lautner has had a busy few months promoting New Moon, and his hard work paid off with their record-breaking opening weekend. His costars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are still doing their thing side-by-side, but Taylor is solo in his latest appearance — he's been on many magazine covers and the latest is December's Rolling Stone. The Ladies Are Short, Long and Shiny on the AMA Red Carpet!
The 2009 American Music Awards descended on the Nokia Theatre in LA last night, which meant a star studded red carpet before the big show. It was a pleasant mixture of long and short dresses on all the ladies, though some even found a way to do both simultaneously like Rihanna in her cutout gown. Carrie Underwood has the early lead in Fab's best dressed poll, but Rih is close behind.
Paul and Jason Bring Their Love to London Without Rashida
Paul Rudd and Jason Segel were in London yesterday for a premiere of I Love You, Man. It was mostly guy time for the screening and the afterparty, as their costar Rashida Jones had to miss out on the trip. We will be seeing her on TV tonight, though, when Parks and Recreation debuts on NBC.
P.S. Gerard Might Love Jennifer Aniston
Gerard Butler smiled big and played cameraman at a press conference for P.S. I Love You in Tokyo yesterday. While he's busy overseas, rumor has it he and Jennifer Aniston were flirting and being touchy-feely at the Toronto Film Festival last weekend.
Jim Carrey Finds Love in Miami
While Jenny McCarthy was off to the White House over the weekend, Jim Carrey was down in Miami getting some sun on the set of his new movie I Love You Phillip Morris. In the film which is based on a true story, Jim is a con artist who tries to escape from prison multiple times after falling in love with his former cell mate, played by Ewan McGregor. Sounds a little heavy, but apparently it's a dark comedy — so hopefully Jim will get to show off that funny side we love so much.
Milo Gets an A+ From the Panettiere Family
Hayden Panettiere finally got a break from her cheerleading costume to sass it up in a red dress on the set of I Love You, Beth Cooper in Vancouver on Thursday. Now that Heroes is on hiatus until next Fall, Milo must have plenty of free time to go and visit his girl up in Canada. Seems like the whole Panettiere family is on board with their relationship these days, even Hayden's little brother, Jansen, who said, "Milo is cool, he's a pretty chill guy."
Natalie Portman Directs New York, I Love You
Natalie Portman looked a little chilly even underneath all those layers on the set of New York, I Love You on Tuesday. We've seen the actress all decked out to star in one of the film's segments, but she is also working behind the camera too. Just like her former co-star Scarlett, one of the shorts will be Natalie's first shot as a director.
