Jennifer Aniston spent last night out on the town in LA. Despite the recent rumors that she and John Mayer have rekindled their romance, he was nowhere in sight as she headed home with a male friend. John, meanwhile was on his way back to LA after some time in NYC, where he celebrated his 32nd birthday in the company of other bachelors like Jeremy Piven and SNL's Seth Meyers.

David Beckham took the wheel to drive his family home after dinner at Nobu in LA last night. Victoria's back on the West Coast after her time in NYC for Fashion Week and The View, looking all settled in the backseat with Romeo and his toys. It's always a treat to see the family together, and Becks had a special reason to celebrate — he was voted best male role model for children in a recent British poll.
Basterds Hits NYC With Help From Diane, LL, Chace and More
It was another star-studded evening celebrating Inglourious Basterds at a screening in NYC last night. Quentin Tarantino and the movie's stars — minus Brad Pitt, who is apparently back in France with his family — gathered with some celebrity friends at the Cinema Society event. Lindsay Lohan, who has been working with Quentin's friend Robert Rodriguez on Machete, hit the red carpet, as did Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford and Sebastian Stan.

Jennifer Aniston was holding down the fort Friday on the NYC set of The Bounty. Gerard Butler was elsewhere, but Jennifer had the company of another important male: her dog Norman. It looks like she's ready to let him step into the spotlight a little after jokingly saying he needed to keep a low profile following his appearance in Vogue last year.

Jason Lewis was the lone male celebrity on the red carpet, as he continues making the rounds on the party scene before likely getting to work on the next Sex and the City movie.

Jude Law Loves the NYC Nightlife
Jude Law enjoyed some drinks and smokes with some lady friends at the NYC club The Box recently. He'd been in the city to film Sherlock Holmes, but since filming has wrapped it looks like Jude was in the mood to let loose and celebrate — in the form of some heavy flirting and a little risque touching. Since this, Jude's taken his saucy antics home to London, where he's been indulging in some mustache-less male bonding with Guy Ritchie.

Hollywood Gets Independent and Spirited Before the Oscars
Before we were overcome with Oscar mania, lots of stars headed to the Independent Spirit Awards in LA on Saturday. After the exciting red carpet, the show was full of parodies and dance numbers featuring Teri Hatcher, Christina Applegate and Rainn Wilson goofing it up onstage. The Wrestler was a big winner, taking home honors for Best Film as well as Best Male Lead.
