The annual series of nationwide GLAAD media award ceremonies kicked off this weekend in NYC. Vanessa Williams and her pregnant Ugly Betty costar Ana Ortiz were two of the attendees, while Tyra Banks received the Excellence in Media Award for her efforts to increase "visibility and understanding of the gay and lesbian community." The GLAAD Media Awards came to LA on Saturday night with another star-studded red carpet. Kathy Griffin couldn't help but show off her "banging bikini bod" yet again when she took the stage to accept her award. Ellen DeGeneres also took home a statue and looked fantastic with Portia De Rossi as they took a moment to talk about their love.

The New Moon gang is in the home stretch before their film hits screens tomorrow. Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, and Nikki Reed spent yesterday making their own media rounds, and the movie's three biggest stars were equally busy. Taylor Lautner was able to take a break last night, though, to have dinner in NYC with friends.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt continued their media tour of NYC yesterday with a stop at MTV to tape an appearance for It's On With Alexa Chung and chat about their book How to Be Famous. The duo also had time for a signing at Borders, where Heidi looked happy to hop on a table and pose with their product even though one of our sources says not too many people actually turned out to see them. The duo also had time for interviews with Tyra, Kelly Ripa and many more, twittering all about their many adventures.

Britney Spears carried Sean Preston out of her Melbourne hotel this morning. Her boyfriend Jason right there as well, leading the way with Jayden James in his arms. Britney and her boys headed out to enjoy the day together before her show this evening, which is the first of three dates she's scheduled to perform in the city.

Rihanna is ready to break her silence, sitting down for her first televised interview since last February's incident with Chris Brown. In the conversation with Diane Sawyer, which will air on GMA this Thursday and 20/20 on Friday, the singer says, "This happened to me. … It can happen to anyone," and calls Brown her first "big love."

The 2009 GLAAD Media Awards came to San Francisco Saturday, the third event in their series of traveling galas after last month's star-studded party in LA and their March bash in NYC. We had the chance to chat with Jason Lewis about reprising his role in the upcoming Sex and the City sequel and SJP's special deliveries. Simon Rex was also on hand, and he opened up about his good friend Paris Hilton and her relationship with Doug.

Olivia Wilde and her husband Tao Ruspoli took a walk together near their home in Venice Beach on Sunday afternoon. She got all dolled up to hit the star-studded U2 concert that evening after a cameo at the Environmental Media Awards, though it appears cute Tao skipped out on all the socializing. We weren't treated to a new episode of House yesterday, and after Olivia's absence from last week's episode, hopefully we can look forward to more of Thirteen's medical adventures next Monday.

Some of the hottest stars of the small screen were out Saturday night for another night of GLAAD Media Awards, this time in LA. Becki Newton looked ready for Summer in her yellow dress posing with on screen BFF Michael Urie. Both were honored when the cast of Ugly Betty won Outstanding Comedy Series for the second year in a row.

- A British newspaper has released a tape of Amy Winehouse smoking crack and doing other drugs in her apartment during a party the night before her husband's hearing last week. We knew Amy's problems were bad, but this is just horrible and it's pretty clear now that she needs serious help. — The Sun
- The nominations for this year's GLAAD Media Awards were announced on Sunday, and ABC led the television pack with nine nominations for their excellence in depicting gay and lesbian characters, while Across the Universe, Stardust, and The Jane Austen Book Club were nominated in the film category.
