Ryan and Michelle Are Two Steamy Valentines
Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams filmed scenes for Blue Valentine in NYC yesterday. Just as we predicted, they looked like a sweet couple with their arms around each other and practicing their kissing scenes. Michelle is happy with her real-life boyfriend Spike Jonze, but we're already looking forward to seeing her chemistry with Ryan up on the big screen.
DJ Hero Launches With a Star-Studded Bang
Guitar Hero's highly anticipated spinoff game, DJ Hero, launched in LA last night, already boasting quite the celebrity following. Eminem looked a lot more comfortable rapping with Jay-Z yesterday than he did at the MTV Movie Awards, though the show's writer admitted that the stunt was all staged and rehearsed. DJ AM showed off his real-life turntable skills for the crowd, which included Matthew McConaughey, Camila Alves, Abbie Cornish, and Ryan Phillippe.
The Stars Kick Off Holiday Shopping and Party at H&M
Celebrities flocked to H&M in West Hollywood last night to get into the holiday spirit and shop the season's newest looks. Nicole Richie and her winged eyeliner posed with Nicky Hilton in her LBD while Mandy Moore and Michelle Trachtenberg chatted and checked out the clothes. Mischa Barton had a festive hair accessory, and Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish held hands while getting a head start on holiday shopping.
Emmy Awards Reality Hosts Get Black and Blue and Boo
Oprah wowed in red as she opened the show after the cool What's my line? clip but unfortunately following her was the reality hosts talking about nothing. It was almost as uncomfortable as watching Ricky Gervais ask for his Emmy back from Steve Carell.
Independent Spirit Teaser
We may be about the Oscars this weekend but that doesn't mean we won't give you a taste of what else is going on. Check out some of the fabulous people who were celebrating the Spirit Awards, which are for all those wonderful independent movies that were made this year. We plan on sharing many more pics from the event but until after the Oscars you're just gonna have to enjoy these favorite few including Rachel Bilson (can she get any cuter?), Winona Ryder looking very friendly with Josh Hartnett and a nice clean cute looking Ryan Gosling (sans Rachel McAdams which we hope is not the case at the Oscars).
Fashion Week Is For Everyone
While many expected fashion-conscious celebrities made it to NY Fashion Week this time around, there was plenty of love for unlikely fashionistas as well. CK underwear model Djimon Honsou helped celebrate Us Weekly's 25 Most Fashionable New Yorkers and Kanye took a break from all the hubbub and tantrums surrounding his album to stop by Ghita's front row with his fiance. Tori and Dean left their little Liam back at the Inn to see the latest designs from Betsey Johnson along with LL Cool J.

Brody Still Can't Find His Razor -- Details, Details, Details
Details Magazine teamed up with Emporio Armani to throw a little shindig in LA last night, and some of my very favorites showed up to play. Okay, I'm mostly talking about Adam Brody (must.ignore.his.need.to.shave). The cast of Big Love was also in the house, including always cute (plus, more and more Katie Holmes looking) Ginnifer.
Leftover Spirit Awards Goodies
Hollywood was not only able to squeeze another big awards show in this weekend, but it had quite a turnout. The Spirit Awards celebrate everything in independent movies that otherwise may be looked over by the box office or other award shows. This year the big winner was Little Miss Sunshine, which took home four prizes including best picture!
