NYC BrokeBack Mountain Premiere
Heath and Michelle were looking fabulous at the NYC premiere of Brokeback Mountain. I think she is getting better and better looking. Motherhood is treating her very very well.
Must See Movie - Brokeback Mountain
Every December we are inundated with all these movies that studios want to save for holiday season and more importantly, Oscar consideration. There are a few I am really excited to see for example, the huge blockbuster King Kong, the romantic comedy Rumor Has It, and the what I like to call Clooney-Damon-Genre movie, Syriana. I was lucky enough to get to see the Indie cowboy flick, Brokeback Mountain and it's just one of those films I am still thinking about a week later.Congrats Brokeback Mountain
See we were not the only ones who thought this movie was super fabulous. The movie received the highest amount nominations, 7, including, Best Drama, Best Director, Best Actor (Heath), and Best Supporting Actress (Michelle). George Clooney must be psyched today since his movie Good Night, Good Luck received 4 noms, as did Match Point and The Producers.Julia and Javier Still Spreading the Eating, Praying, and Love
Julia Roberts flashed her signature smile yesterday while working on Eat, Pray, Love in Bali. She had good reason to look so happy, since her handsome costar Javier Bardem was also on the set. The duo suited up in hiking gear for an afternoon on a mountain, which seems like quite a contrast to their recent day of floating in the sea.
Orlando Bloom Heads For the Hills
Orlando Bloom worked his bod while mountain biking with a friend in Hollywood yesterday. He frequently cruises around on his motorcycle, but on this ride his legs did all the work. While Miranda Kerr has been getting lots of attention for her figure as one of the elite eight in this year's bikini bracket, hopefully we get a peek at Orlando's shirtless abs this Summer.
Nicole and Joel Are Already Spreading the Magic in 2009
Fresh off a bikini-clad trip to Maui last week, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden wasted no time kicking off 2009 with some good deeds. On Friday they went shopping at Chanel in Beverly Hills, but the real giving back fun began on Saturday when they headed to Six Flags Magic Mountain. In addition to hitting the rides, they spent time with kids from Beyond Shelter, posing for plenty of photo ops with Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck.
Ryan and Abbie Bring Ava and Deacon For Magic Fun
It may not be as educational as visiting the Tate Modern, but Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish brought Ava and Deacon for a different kind of day trip to Magic Mountain in LA yesterday. As usual, Ryan and Abbie put on their hats — though, guess she's not so blond-again after all — to shade them from the sun on the day out with the kiddies. It's sweet to see that the two little ones have been enjoying lots of bonding time with both their parents' new significant others around the world and home in LA.

Kate Winslet landed in LA yesterday with her huge purses and purple flats. It's been a while since we last saw her on the big screen in The Holiday, and next up we can't wait to see her reunited with Leonardo in Revolutionary Road. Kate, who was named Artist of the Year at last night's Britannia Awards (more on that later), chooses her projects carefully and she recently talked to Variety about the process she goes through picking her films.
