Robert, Kristen, and the New Moon Cast Pause to Party
Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner were together for last night's special NYC screening of New Moon along with their many costars. It looks like they split up for the afterparty, though, with Robert and Kristen spotted afterward looking far more casual on their way out of a lounge in the city's Meatpacking District. The official afterparty was held in a different neighborhood at The Box, where Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr were spotted making a hasty retreat in the rain.
Ashlee Simpson Stops by Lots of Shows in NYC
Ashlee Simpson was in tight black leggings this morning as she headed into the It's On with Alexa Chung studios in NYC. She had an early morning with another appearance on The Today Show, where she chatted about becoming a new mom and how Jessica is faring while filming the Price of Beauty abroad — check out the video below. Busy Ashlee will also be on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon this evening, as she keeps on promoting Melrose Place.
Brad Travels to NYC to Spend Time With Rachel and Eric
Brad Pitt was in producer mode last night as he joined Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams at the NYC premiere of The Time Traveler's Wife, and their good times continued after the screening with an afterparty at the Rouge Tomate. Brad also recently celebrated the upcoming release of his own Inglourious Basterds, but Monday night's outing didn't seem to slow him down as he chatted and drank champagne with Rachel. This morning, an interview he recorded last week in New Orleans aired on The Today Show.
Even Obama Knows About Jessica's New Body Drama
Jessica Simpson kept belting out her songs this weekend, performing in Charleston, West Virginia last night. On Friday she told her fans, "Because of my faith, I believe that I can conquer the world and all its opinions and ideas and all of its judgments", possibly alluding to the drama with her new curves. Even President Obama is aware of the controversy.
Reese Still Has a Lot to Say About Monsters vs. Aliens
After spending her birthday weekend partying with Jake and premiering Monsters vs. Aliens in LA, Reese Witherspoon headed to NYC to continue promoting the movie. This morning she stopped by the Today show, where she chatted about how exciting it was to play a superhero and how much fun she had working with her costar Paul Rudd.
