Halle Speaks Up About Her Effort to Stop Domestic Violence
Halle Berry flashed a smile as she ran errands in LA yesterday, but this evening we'll see her more serious side on the NBC Nightly News. In the segment, Halle shared her own experience with domestic violence while talking about her work with the Jenesse Center in LA, saying, "My mother was a battered woman and that was my childhood for a good chunk of it...Early on in my life, I made choices, and I chose men that were abusive because that was what I knew growing up." Halle has come a long way in speaking out about her own difficult past and recently finding happiness with Gabriel and Nahla.

Leighton Meester chatted on her phone still wearing her glasses while Taylor Momsen greeted some young fans between takes filming Gossip Girl in Brooklyn yesterday. Chace and Jessica also braved the cold in many layers. On this week's episode, the biggest treat was getting to see Leighton act with her real life boyfriend Sebastian Stan who sidled up to her at the bar — the up and coming actor could also be seen starring in NBC's new drama Kings.
Heidi and Seal's Family Time Before Fashion Week Madness
Heidi Klum and Seal took their children for one of their regular park playdates in LA over the weekend. Seal played photographer, adding another picture to their family album before taking a break to kiss his wife. Yesterday, Heidi was out again with the kids for horseback riding and playing with balloon animals.

We are still watching our favorite season finales but we have to switch gears to begin thinking about the networks new fall schedules. NBC announced theirs today and the big news is that both the Matthew Perry and Alec Baldwin have shows about the behind-the-scenes look at a late night program. Britney Spears let it almost all hang out last night as she entered Tenjune to celebrate her 27th birthday after an eventful morning. The singer started her day singing on GMA and then had time with her family before getting dolled up to party with friends including Lance Bass. Britney also taped her part of the NBC tree lighting ceremony in Rockefeller Center last night but she covered up to keep warm from the chilly temperatures.

Jennifer Aniston, always the devoted spokeswoman, had her smartwater in hand on her way into a friend's house in LA yesterday afternoon. The effects of staying hydrated and her diligent workouts were evident as usual along with, of course, that famous hair. With Fall television making its way back on, Jennifer Aniston's 30 Rock cameo and return to NBC Thursday night Must See TV already has people talking about next year's Emmys.
