Last night some of the UK's bravest yet lesser-known heroes were honored at the Pride of Britain awards. The winners are chosen by judges that include Simon Cowell, and the inspiring citizens range from children to firefighters to racecar drivers. Emma Watson was looking adorable as always to show the love for JK Rowling, who received a special recognition award for her philanthropic efforts in addition to bringing us Harry Potter.

It may have been UK GQ's Men Of The Year Awards last night in London, but it was all eyes on the ladies - some of our favorite supermodels in particular. Helena, Elle and Naomi all looked as smoking hot as they did at the peak of their fame - lucky, lucky. Claudia Schiffer recently said she thinks the Supermodel is dead because of the prevalence of actors/starlets in ads and on magazine covers, but it doesn't feel that way looking at these fabulous stars.

Jay-Z was up late last night to perform at his concert in Washington, DC, but he was out bright and early this morning with his furry cap on to watch President Obama being sworn in. He was joined by Beyonce, her sister Solange, and Diddy for the inauguration ceremony, all looking happy to experience each special part of the day for themselves. Also on hand to witness the event were Leo and Bar, fresh from their trip to the UK, as well as Oprah, Anne Hathaway, Adrian Grenier, and many other famous faces that were mixed into the crowd.

This weekend award season kept on rolling and this time it was all about the directors. Slumdog Millionaire continued its winning streak as Danny Boyle received the night's top honor for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film at the Directors Guild Awards in LA. This honor helps the movie secure its Oscar worthy odds in a few weeks.

After last year's abridged version of the Globes, everyone seemed excited to go back to the traditional show with all the Hollywood glamour and exciting speeches. Jennifer Lopez kicked off the show in her gold revealing gown where she handed out the first award to last night's real star — Kate Winslet. The actress scored a double win at the beginning and the end of the show and her heartfelt loving thank yous to both Leo and her husband were a highlight.

While she's not the star of the film, I must say that fresh off her morning of charity Rachel Bilson stole the show in her strapless blue and white dress at last night's Manhattan premiere of the thriller Awake. She was out to support her boy, Hayden, who is in the movie alongside Jessica Alba, who herself was dateless. Sadly it looks like R-Bils and Hayden are taking their cues from the Affleck-Garners and didn't do the red carpet thing.

Ryan Seacrest is a serious cover boy for the April issue of Details, but his big smile made up for it at the magazine's Mavericks 2008 party in LA last night. Small-screen stars Rainn Wilson and Kristin Cavallari came out for the event, and Lindsay Price got to celebrate the end of Lipstick Jungle for now. With all the drama, beauty and fun geekiness on last night's finale we can't wait for it to come back.

Grey's Anatomy is doing so well for ABC that they are moving the show to Thursday nights in the fall. We enjoyed the finale although nothing really surprised us about the ending. Also, as an FYI, Chris O'Donnell is returning to the show in the fall but we're not sure how long.
