The Oscars Brought Laughter, Tears, and Lots of Singing
Last night, the Oscars provided an exciting finale to another awesome award season. We were treated to a new format that kicked off with Hugh Jackman showing off his singing and dancing skills before having fun and joking with the big names of the night. Later on he was joined by Beyonce, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and Amanda Seyfried for a fun medley honoring musicals.
Reese and Jake's Sunny Running LA Reunion!
Reese Witherspoon had her jogging buddy back in LA yesterday, spotted out for a little afternoon exercise with her man Jake Gyllenhaal. The duo looked picture perfect and happy to be back side-by-side in California. Jake's been overseas all Summer and Fall filming The Prince of Persia, but it doesn't look like he's done yet considering all that hair he has for the role.
Reese Does Kidstock But Leaves Her Little Ones at Home
Before Jason Bateman and Spencer Pratt hit the 2008 MTV Movie Awards they showed a softer side by supporting the kids. They were joined by Reese and her new shorter do (love it or not?), at the 2nd Annual Kidstock Music and Art Festival at Greystone Mansion. The charity helps give children support to become involved in the arts.
Reese's Weekend Beach Bound and Yoga Ready
Reese Witherspoon took advantage of gorgeous LA out and about all weekend long. On Friday, she hit the beach with Deacon and some friends, though skipped testing out the water in her bathing suit instead opting for a walk in the sand. On Saturday, the kids were off to spend the rest of Father's Day weekend with Ryan while she and Jake had some one on one time.
Reese Rules the Rendition Red Carpet...& Jakey Too
As expected (but still unfortunately) Reese and Jake keep their maybe-lationship a question mark, avoiding each other on the red carpet at last night's L.A. Rendition premiere. On the day that her divorce was finalized, she had a subdued Reese smile on her face — but we all know she's tougher than letting anything get to her in public.

Brokeback Mountain got 8 nominations for Oscar hopefuls this morning. What a way to kick off the day for Heath and Jake. The film was nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor and best Supporting Actor for Jake and Michelle.The Much More Fun Movie Awards

Reese is the ultimate supermom. She is totally hands-on with her kids, runs her own production company, is involved in charities and still finds time to relax and hang out with her hot husband. She just received the good news that her latest project, Penelope has gotten picked up by IFC Films and will hit theaters in 2007.
