Angelina and Kate Lead the Ladies Down the SAG Red Carpet
Some of our favorite actresses got glammed up to walk the red carpet at last night's Screen Actors Guild Awards. Angelina Jolie and Kate Winslet were joined by Slumdog Millionaire's Freida Pinto in different hues of blue, which turned out to be the shade of the night. Katie Has Something to Talk About During New Moon
Suri Cruise was carried around the Long Island set of The Romantics by her mom Katie Holmes yesterday. Little Suri showed off a few of her adorable faces as they strolled from Katie's trailer to over where Josh Duhamel and Adam Brody were hanging out between scenes. Adam was in his suit as he chatted on the phone, though Josh was a little more active tossing a football around with members of the crew.
Penelope Prefers to Chat About Embraces Not Engagements
Penelope Cruz was busy in NYC yesterday, first making a stop by The Late Show to chat with David Letterman. She was out to discuss Broken Embraces before it opens in limited theaters this Friday, but Dave was a little more concerned with asking about her rumored engagement to Javier Bardem. Jon Hamm Pops Up in Plaid in an Entirely Different Town
Jon Hamm flashed a big smile after a meeting in LA yesterday afternoon. He's back in California after months working on The Town in Boston, as is his costar/director Ben Affleck. Jon's schedule is busy despite Mad Men ending for the season, and he recently traveled to Canada to start on his next film project Sucker Punch.
Orlando Breaks His Stride in Wind Pants
Orlando Bloom had his favorite water in hand yesterday as he headed into a LA office building in exercise gear. Orlando's keeping his body in great shape during a brief hiatus between big-screen projects, after wrapping Sympathy For Delicious earlier this year. His girlfriend Miranda Kerr is busy juggling her own hectic work schedule, since her responsibilities with Victoria's Secret have her busy on both lingerie on the catwalk and in bikinis on the beach.
Claire and Zac Share Mutual Admiration
Zac Efron and Claire Danes were out and about in NYC yesterday to continue promoting their new movie Me and Orson Welles. The duo stopped by The Early Show for an interview and later met up again for a screening at night. Natalie, Tobey, and Amanda Bring Family to See Brothers
Natalie Portman in brilliant blue stole the spotlight last night at a screening of Brothers in NYC. One of her two leading men, Tobey Maguire, joined her on the red carpet along with his wife Jennifer Meyer, though Jake Gyllenhaal missed the event. Amanda Peet was right by her husband David Benioff's side, supporting his latest screenwriting effort.
