A handful of starlets hit the red carpet last night to celebrate the grand opening of America Eagle's new flagship store in NYC. The Gossip Girl crowd was well-represented, with Leighton Meester cozying up to Michelle Trachtenberg and Jessica Szohr. Adrian Grenier, Pete Wentz, and Ashlee Simpson were also out to browse the offerings at the new space in Times Square.

Leighton Meester is apparently focusing hard on her singing career with special performances and new singles. You guys are already loving her song "Somebody to Love," and she just released a video that shows her scantily-clad and hitting clubs and hotel rooms with costar Robin Thicke. It's a little confusing to see Leighton as both buttoned-up Blair on Gossip Girl and as a slightly risqué singer, so check out the video below and tell us — is Leighton's video for "Somebody to Love" silly or steamy?

Adam Lambert was up early today to debut his new single on Ryan Seacrest's radio show. We've all been anxiously waiting to hear what Adam comes up with since his second place win on American Idol, and "For Your Entertainment" is heavy on the pop but light on his signature rock and roll style. John Mayer's been keeping himself busy, hitting the red carpet last week and releasing his second single from his upcoming album Battle Studies yesterday. You were loving the first track "Who Says" which was witty and fun but his latest, "Heartbreak Warfare" is all about his emotions. We got our first taste of it back in March on the Mayercraft Carrier, and most of you were into the soulful song.

Rihanna received a bouquet of flowers on her way out of a NYC recording studio yesterday as she finishes up work on her new album before its November 23 release. First up is her debut single, which premiered this morning on Ryan Seacrest's radio show. For "Russian Roulette," she paired up with Ne-Yo for a ballad that touches on some somber subjects.

Britney Spears was in black lace and spandex last week to film the video for her song "3." The first single off her upcoming album has most of you wanting to hit the dance floor, and it's also earned Britney another spot at the top of the Billboard 100 — she's actually the first artist in three years to have a single enter the chart at number one. We'll soon get to see the results of Brit's hard work on the set, and she even took to Twitter to say she can't wait until her fans can view the results.

John Mayer's new album Battle Studies comes out next month, and his first single, "Who Says," hit airwaves two weeks ago. Despite the song's silly lyrics, you guys seemed to be loving it. Now here's the video, with John going about his usual fun times in NYC from parties to nights onstage at the Comedy Cellar.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were in Miami last night to cheer on the Dolphins as they beat the New York Jets. Marc opened the game by singing the National Anthem, but Jennifer's currently the one releasing new music. Her single "Fresh Out of the Oven" came out last week under her alter ego, Lola, though you guys aren't exactly loving it.

A previously unreleased single of Michael Jackson's called "This Is It" just came out. The song is the first off a forthcoming album and movie of the same name, which will feature remastered versions of some of his greatest hits and a few more unheard tracks. This one isn't exactly danceable, but it's a Michael ballad.
