Stars Sparkle, Burn and Sing at the American Music Awards
The stars of last night's American Music Awards hit the red carpet before heading inside LA's Nokia Theatre for the main event. Janet Jackson kicked things off with an energetic eight minute performance, and the evening's first award then went to the Black Eyed Peas. The Black Eyed Peas went on to take the stage to do "Boom Boom Pow" with a special Nirvana twist.
Jay-Z Keeps an Empire State of Mind in Toronto
Jay-Z stopped by the Much Music studios in Toronto on Saturday before taking the stage that evening for a Halloween show. He was appropriately dressed in a Jason mask for his entrance, but made sure to complete the show in his signature shades. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart only had eyes for each other on stage in front of fans during the HVB youth event at the Olympic Hall in Munich today. They were there with Taylor Lautner and Christopher Weitz, promoting New Moon, but it's hard to focus on anyone other than the famous duo. Kristen looked sexy in yet another hot little number, this time by Gucci, while Rob dressed down his suit by sticking with a chest-baring v-neck.

Scarlett's duties for the brand included a stop in Japan last month as well as posing for the sexy ad campaign. Kate Hudson had a happier night at Yankee Stadium on Thursday when Alex Rodriguez and his team conquered the Phillies after a rough loss on Wednesday. The evening started out with Jay-Z and Alicia Keys performing "Empire State of Mind" for the crowd and John Legend taking on the National Anthem. Kate's man A-Rod is in a mini slump at the moment, but his good luck charm is here to stay — Kate's even supposedly canceled her annual Halloween party in order to watch him play in Philadelphia tomorrow.
