Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were among the first couples to hit the red carpet at tonight's American Music Awards in LA. The two stayed close together as they posed with Nicole's super-straight hair blowing in the wind. They're regulars at the country music award show scene and they're certainly pros at looking great together.

Men of all ages wore basic black and white last night at the Oscars. The biggest decision was bowtie or long tie, unless we're talking about Mickey Rourke who stood out in his bright white suit, proving once again he is doing things his way. Angelina Jolie sat down for yet another interview to promote Changeling, but mostly talked about her family — though the real secret is how she's working out these days. While Brad supposedly got upset with Jennifer Aniston for her "uncool" Angelina comment, Jen talked to Oprah about how it was taken out of context, so hopefully everyone can move on. Meanwhile Angelina had some adorable things to say about Zahara and Maddox.

Britney Spears stepped out of the B2V salon in LA yesterday showing off her straight blonde hair and cleaned up extensions. Her hair isn't the only thing looking like old Brit again — she's been working hard to get her bikini body into great shape, which has us thinking about seeing her hit the stage again. We agree with most of you and would be very excited to see her make another go of performing at this year's VMAs, so we'll have to see if she's ready to give us more.

Jessica Simpson brought out her very best Barbie impression once again shooting the new Hairdo Extensions ads in LA yesterday. Of course Jess had her business partner and sidekick Ken Paves right there with her to perfect her locks from curly to super straight. Seems like we'll get to see Jess' goofy side coming into play here, which is already better than her unflattering Esquire cover.
Kate Hudson Is Going to War
Kate Hudson and her super straight blond hair got to work on a new movie in NYC yesterday. The film is called Bride Wars, and Kate and Anne Hathaway play best friends who start fighting when they pick the same date for their weddings. Hopefully this will be a return to the romantic comedy Kate we love since Fool's Gold didn't wow us.

Natalie Portman's photoshoots have been high on the cute factor lately, posing with puppies and riding around on bikes. They fit right in with the theme of her new movie Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, but this Sunday's The New York Times Style Magazine showcases a different side of the star. Luke Wilson put on his exercise clothes and took his mustache for a belated New Year's resolution (?) walk/jog on Monday in LA. Luke has been M.I.A. for a while working on his facial hair and unfortunately it sounds like his latest film is similarly unsuccessful.
