While she was in class, he ran errands and picked up a few goodies from Barnes & Noble — perhaps getting a head start on his holiday shopping? Ben was right on time later in the afternoon when he up picked Violet and headed home for the day.

Kate Heads to the Salon Before Getting Dressed to the Nines
Kate Hudson made a low-key trip the hair salon yesterday after a busy weekend of honoring heroes and attending award shows. Kate looked relaxed in her casual sportswear after her dress got a lot of attention at the American Music Awards on Sunday. Kate seemed to have a little trouble staying covered by her Versace number —styled by Rachel Zoe— as she and Nicole Kidman introduced their Nine costar Fergie and The Black Eyed Peas.
