Lauren Conrad looked like she was ready for Summer in January as she stepped out in her maxi dress and white Balenciaga bag for lunch with Lo Bosworth in LA yesterday. The Hills might be on hiatus for a while, but we're sure there's still plenty of drama to be discussed over a few glasses of mid-day red wine. While Whitney is busy making her way through The City on the East Coast, Lauren doesn't have to worry about her original BFF from Laguna Beach leaving her side any time soon.
Jessica Alba Just Wants to Comfortably Lay in the Sun
Jessica Alba slipped on another of her favorite halter top maxi dresses for a trip to Rite Aid with Cash yesterday. They picked up a few cushions for outdoor lounge chairs to gear up for the Summer months — maybe even a Memorial Day barbecue? Jess is already talking about how she expects Cash to let their new baby eat McDonald's, but maybe this Summer the parents-to-be can relax on their chairs with their new baby and some burgers off the grill instead.
Ashlee Simpson's Not Bitter Just Sweet Summer
Ashlee Simpson traded in her maxi dresses for a pretty little white number out to lunch at Chin Chin in LA with a friend yesterday. While Ashlee's original plan for the Summer involved a club tour to support Bittersweet World, she canceled that and seems happy as can be to spend some downtime enjoying her pregnancy home in the LA area. Now maybe she could find a moment to get her rapidly growing puppy Rigby a leash.

Liv's Got Her Milo and Her Movies
After a fun-filled day on the Santa Monica Pier earlier this week, Liv Tyler and Milo kept things low key on Thursday. Liv looked fab in her maxi dress out to dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Pasadena with Milo and the nanny. While Liv's The Strangers is a bit too scary for little Milo (and me) to see in the theaters, I'm excited to see his mommy in The Incredible Hulk when it comes out next weekend.
CBS Stars Celebrate Emmy Nominations & Fall Shows
The stars of CBS came out last night to celebrate at the 2007 Summer TCAs. First and foremost, I love seeing Oliver Hudson and his wife just about anywhere, so that is definitely a special treat. Alyson Hannigan looked seriously summer-y with her huge earrings and maxi dress, but obviously glowing fresh off How I Met Your Mother's Emmy nominations.
