Kellan Shows Love For Animals With Joaquin, Lea, and Then Kola

Kellan Lutz joined Jenna Dewan and Kelly Osbourne in LA on Saturday to support PETA at their 30th Anniversary Gala and Humanitarian Awards, which was hosted by 30 Rock's Alec Baldwin. Alec was hilarious in the season premiere of his series last week with funny costar Matt Damon, and he kept his star-studded crowd, which also included I'm Still Here pranksters Casey Affleck and Joaquin Phoenix, laughing throughout the night. Lea Michele and Kellan were among the evening's honorees.

Kellan, though, got a head start on his weekend by going out for a jog near Runyon Canyon on Friday. He stuck with his animal loving theme by bringing along his buddy Kola. Kellan kept his sexy Calvins under wraps but fortunately showed off his toned triceps. He's back in California after a trip to Washington DC, where he volunteered at an event celebrating great communities for young people. The actor has a little more downtime to chill near home and with his girlfriend, AnnaLynne McCord, before starting work on Breaking Dawn soon.

Joaquin Has a Family Night Out With Summer and Casey

Joaquin Phoenix had his baseball cap pulled down low last night on his way out of LA's Bardot. His sister Summer and her husband Casey Affleck weren't far behind, after the trio reportedly stepped out to see Rain Phoenix's band, Papercranes, perform. The boys spent their evening letting loose after they finished up work on their mockumentary about Joaquin's "lost year." Joaquin seems to be getting back to his old self as he slowly returns to the social scene, and we'll perhaps get a closer look what really happened if his and Casey's film ever finds a distributor.

Kate Hudson Avoids a Wardrobe Malfunction With New Mom Amanda Peet at Tribeca!

Kate Hudson took last night off from working on Something Borrowed to attend the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of her thriller The Killer Inside Me. She joined costars Jessica Alba and Casey Affleck, who brought his wife, Summer Phoenix. Jess was arm in arm with her own spouse Cash Warren, and was decked out in a boho-chic look for her evening off from serving as one of the festival's jurors. Abbie Cornish also made it out for her latest Tribeca event. Kate picked a black Louis Vuitton dress for the occasion, though her and Jess's characters in the movie wore vintage pieces from the '50s.

Kate's LBD almost encountered a major problem when a gust of wind rolled through and she risked a Marilyn Monroe moment, but Jessica was there to save the day. Meanwhile, the cast of Please Give headed out for their own press call. Catherine Keener, Oliver Platt, and Rebecca Hall joined new mom Amanda Peet - she and her husband David Benioff welcomed their second daughter, Molly, just eight days ago! On her baby's arrival, Amanda said, "So far, so good! She's great. I'm in love with her!"

Casey Soaks Up Family Time Before Heading Back to Work

Casey Affleck and his son Indiana got dressed up in ties on Saturday while running errands including a stop at Rite Aid with Summer Phoenix and baby Atticus. Casey is known for taking long breaks between projects, but he's just signed on for a new film called The Killer Inside Me alongside Jessica Alba. He's proved his acting skills with his latest roles, and we'll look forward to seeing if Casey can churn out another Oscar-worthy performance.

Some Lovely Ladies Support Summer's Odd Rubies

Summer Phoenix opened up her second Some Odd Rubies store in LA yesterday, with a little help from her beautiful girlfriends. Sister-in-law Jennifer Garner came out to show the love and provide a few hugs, as did a smiley Liv Tyler. Elizabeth Banks took a time out from being an underrated actress to check out the vintage wares. All of the ladies looked fresh-faced and fabulous last night, but there's no harm in shopping for new goodies while supporting a friend.

The Other Affleck Clan Plays in LA Too

Casey Affleck and his wife Summer Phoenix brought their two sons out for a family lunch in LA Thursday. Summer carried the baby, Atticus, while Indiana stuck by Casey's side looking every bit the mini me. The whole crew is quite the precious foursome, and while Indiana has his cousin Violet old enough to play with, baby Atticus will soon get another Affleck cousin who will grow up right behind him. Casey's been taking a break from the big screen after his big year including Gone Baby Gone and his Oscar nod for The Assassination of Jesse James, so hopefully we'll get to see the Affleck brothers and their families enjoying the endless LA Summer.

Lately we've been seeing less of the wisecracking younger Affleck and more of Casey the family man, and there are certainly no complaints here. Yesterday he packed up his two little boys and headed to LAX with his wife, Summer Phoenix. How adorable is he making faces and playing with his newborn son? We just wish we had a baby name to go with all of this cuteness.

We haven't yet gotten a glimpse of the little guy who spent his afternoon nuzzled up next to momma's hip. How cute is Casey with his oldest boy Indiana in their matching headbands - love it. Maybe the boys were on their way to a game of pickup ball in the LA sun?

Sugar Bits - Brad Renfro Passes Away at 25

Brad Renfro, the former child actor who became famous through his roles in films such as The Client, The Cure, and Tom and Huck, and who just finished shooting The Informers with Winona Ryder, was found dead at his house in LA yesterday morning. He was only 25-years-old. The cause of death isn't known and an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday, though he suffered from a long history of drug abuse and was known to be drinking the night before. His former lawyer told People, "we all failed." Our thoughts are with his family and friends as we put the pieces of this extremely sad story together. - People

Golden Globe nominee Casey Affleck and his wife, actress Summer Phoenix welcomed a baby boy!

According to OK! Magazine, the bundle of joy joins the couple's 3-year-old son, Indiana August.

And, the new addition is in talented company with uncles, Ben Affleck and Joaquin Phoenix. And our favorite playground pals - aunt, Jennifer Garner and cute cousin, Violet Affleck.
