The Air SMG's Blue Dress & Seth's Mustache Breathe in LA

A good part of the star-studded cast of The Air I Breathe came out to the Arclight in LA last night for the premiere of their movie. Sarah Michelle ~~Gellar~~ Prinze (still getting used to that) stole the show looking gorgeous in her stunning blue number. While she had no Freddie by her side, her costars Andy Garcia and Brendan Fraser were there to keep her cracking up on the red carpet. Love John Cho. Wait, no, I spoke too soon - Seth Green's gross mustache is what stole the show. Hey now.

Penelope Cruz Has Two Things to Talk About in Vanity Fair

Penelope Cruz has made headlines lately due to speculation over her possible pregnancy, but she's on the cover of November's Vanity Fair to discuss her two upcoming films, Nine and Broken Embraces. She showed off her sexy back and even touched on Javier Bardem, revealing that he's the superior air guitarist in the relationship. Here's more:

On being a worrier: "I've always been a worrier. Since I was a little girl I've always felt that if I had a moment of peace I'd wonder: Are you sure you can afford to feel like this?"
On working with Almodovar again: "Pedro would push me to the limit. He really knows how to press all my buttons. You can only go into something like that when it's somebody you really trust. I always feel like he's my safety net. Like I can fly and go far, because he's going to catch me. The biggest [panic] attack I had during the movie was the scene where, for the first time, Lena [her character] makes the decision to try to become an actress. I don't know what happened to me that day, but before and after we filmed I could not breathe."
On hanging out at her mom Encarna's hair salon as a child: "It was my first acting school. I would pretend to be doing my homework, but I was really observing the women. I found their behavior mesmerizing - what they were hiding, how they left feeling a little different after they'd been helped to become a little more like whom they wanted to look like. They treated the place a little bit like a psychologist's office."
On comparing kissing Scarlett Johansson and Charlize Theron in movies: "No matter how I answer that I will be in trouble. Both were pretty beautiful partners."

Gwyneth Gets Even More Sexy for GQ

Gwyneth Paltrow has been flaunting her flirty side on the red carpet events for Iron Man lately and she went even sexier in lingerie for the June issue of GQ UK. Apparently Gwyneth wanted to use the opportunity to turn heads and prove that she's not as uptight as she might seem, saying, "People think I'm aloof, or old, or that I breathe rarefied air-that's not me." The actress seems to be having a ball promoting her new comic book movie and we welcome the chance to see her lighter and more fun-loving personality.

SMG was looking fabulous at the Tribeca Film Festival where she debuted 2 of her latest films, Suburban Girl and The Air I Breathe. I am loving all the SMG sightings we are getting these days. Hopefully with these two movies on the horizon we will see a lot more of her and that adorable husband of hers, Freddie Prinze Jr. Can you all see her squeezing his hand on the carpet? SO cute. As for the two movies, Suburban Girl is based on the wonderful book, The Girls Guide to Hunting and Fishing and the Air I Breathe has SMG playing a pop star that gets in trouble with the mob. I can't wait to check both of these out but more importantly, I am just glad to see her out and about again. Now if we could only get her and Freddie to make some little ones already!

Sarah Michelle Is Gellar...Or Prinze...Either Works

Sarah Michelle Gellar gets comfy in couture for this week's issue of Parade magazine out to promote her new movie The Air I Breathe. Does anyone else think she's channeling Mischa Barton just a little in that first photo? Random. In the interview she talks in little bits about her new movie and that name change everyone is talking about. Here are highlights:

On her name: “My friends know me as Prinz, but I’ll answer to just about anything. Sometimes people mistake me for Sarah Jessica Parker, and I answer to that too.”
On her new movie: “I’ve seen a close-to-final cut...and my gut reaction is tough to say or to be objective about. But, oh, what a cast!”
On turning 30: “That was a traumatic year...I think 30 is really, really young, but I have accomplished a few things.”

That's not exactly a rave review for her own movie, but maybe she's just being coy? And while we're still getting used to Sarah Michelle Prinze, it sounds like if you stick to Sarah and two other names, it's fine by her.

Britney Opens Up About Feeling Lost

Though Britney could still use the help of a stylist, at least she changed out of her stained white dress into a clean turquoise one this weekend after making the rounds eating and tanning. It seems as if the pop star is also doing a little reflecting of her own. Brit has left us another message on her fan site explaining what went wrong over the past several months. She addresses going to rehab and cutting ties with the people who she was closest with in her life. For once, she sounds almost clear and level headed, which is a breath of fresh air after Mischa and LL's crazy weekends. Here's what she had to say:

Dear Fans,
I just wanted to reach out to all of you and explain some of the things that I have been faced with recently.

It's like we all want our side of the story out there as well, but at the end of the day only a few people care to hear what is really going on since the bad is always so much more interesting than the truth. I don't know why, but this is so weird to me. I used to be angry at the tabloids for printing horrible things about me, but now I try to just be numb to what I see. I saw Tyra Banks once get really upset and cry on her show because they made her look fat. We all want a certain image of ourselves out there, and at some point we all do really care what other people think or we wouldn't be here.

Dear Fans,

It's like we all want our side of the story out there as well, but at the end of the day only a few people care to hear what is really going on since the bad is always so much more interesting than the truth. I don't know why, but this is so weird to me. I used to be angry at the tabloids for printing horrible things about me, but now I try to just be numb to what I see. I saw Tyra Banks once get really upset and cry on her show because they made her look fat. We all want a certain image of ourselves out there, and at some point we all do really care what other people think or we wouldn't be here.

Recently, I was sent to a very humbling place called rehab. I truly hit rock bottom. Till this day I don't think that it was alcohol or depression. I was like a bad kid running around with ADD. I had a manager from a long time ago come in and try to direct me and my life after I got my divorce. I was so overwhelmed I think that I was in a little shock too. I didn't know who to go to. I realized how much energy and love I had put into my past relationship when it was gone because I genuinely did not know what to do with myself, and it made me so sad. I confess, I was so lost.

This letter is to not place blame on anyone, although I do see the world with a completely different set of eyes now. Being in that vulnerable state and taken to dinners and parties with friends and finding out later you paid for everything was a huge learning lesson for me. I think the whole problem was letting too many people into my life. You never know another persons intentions or what another person wants. I feel I was too open and looking for answers when I had it all to begin with. I have had to cut so many people out of my life. It is so sad, because if anyone is a family person...it is me. When I was little I remember every night watching movies with my family and feeling so at peace. Dancing and singing all the time just like a little girl should. Now recently I find with my children that I want them to have that feeling all of the time. I am having to face a lot of things right now since I have children of my own. A lot of insecurities from when I was little are coming up again. It is like we are never good enough.

I know everyone thinks that I am playing the victim, but I am not and I hate what is going on right now so much. Maybe this is the reason for this letter...to maybe allow people to look at me differently. It is like when you are a real woman and say what you feel and how you think things are supposed to be, that people just say you are a "bitch."

I feel like some of the people in my life made more of some issues than was necessary. I also feel like they knew I was beginning to use my brain for a change and cut some ties, so they wanted to be in more control of my life than me. I think it is actually normal for a young girl to go out after a huge divorce. I think it was a bigger issue because I had not gone out in such a long time. I am 25 and I do still have a lot to learn, and I am going to make mistakes everyday, and I am sure every mistake I make will probably be on CNN or Good Morning America. I am only human people and I love you for still loving me.

I am sitting here at home and it is 6:25 and both of my sons are asleep. I am truly blessed to have them in my life. Everyday is so surreal. Life in general is so surreal and crazy.

I just hope this letter made some of you think a little bit more of me and where I am coming from. I just want the same things in life that you want...and that is to be happy. It is just so weird because everyone has their own perception of me and how they think I really am. It is so weird how stories are told. There is your side, my side, and the truth. Somebody has to figure it out. I guess we will never really understand or figure out life completely. That's God's job. I can't wait to meet him...or her.

Hilary Duff touched down in Sydney today all fresh-faced and tan. As Britney's sad drama continues, starlets like she and Rihanna are a breath of fresh air - just don't expect Hil to compare herself to any of Hollywood's troubled girls anytime soon. She said, "The last thing I'd want is for someone like myself to comment on what they should do or how they're handling their life. It's really easy to judge from the outside. We don't know what they're going through. It's hard, I definitely don't envy it.'' So far Hilary has done a great job of being a grounded role model, so hopefully she can keep that up as she continues to make her mark on Hollywood.

SMG Breathes the Air in NYC

Sarah Michelle Gellar looked fabulously put together signing autographs as she headed into The Late Show With David Letterman in NYC last night. She looked even more chic once she braved the cold and ditched her long coat (even if it was just for a minute). She chatted with Dave about her new movie The Air I Breathe, and also got cute analyzing those slightly unflattering pics of her surfing in Hawaii. She mostly blamed Freddie for laughing at her as she wiped out, but luckily SMG had the right sense of humor to make fun of herself.

An Off the Market Scarlett Does Her Civic Duty

Scarlett Johansson provided a breath of fresh air and a taste of home for about 600 marines stationed in Kuwait on Sunday. Unsurprisingly, the men lined up to catch a glimpse of the actress and were treated to conversation and autographs (a few even walked away with a stamp of red lipstick on their cheeks). Scarlett was happy to provide a bit of eye candy as a distraction from serving our country, saying,

It’s important to give people a piece of home and to boost morale. Everybody out here is risking everything, giving us one of the biggest gifts they can. I want to be out here to support them. It’s nice to give them a smile in the middle of the day. If they are missing home, feeling down or worried, hopefully being here will get their minds off of things.

As for her boyfriend Ryan Reynolds, something tells us he won't be too jealous about Scarlett being the object of affection for hundreds of men. It's still premature, but word on the street is that we can expect to hear engagement news to surface sometime in the near future.

Eva Longoria's Not Just a Restauranteur

Winter is rapidly approaching, but Eva Longoria was a breath of summer air in her cute LWD making her way around LA before hitting the big Victoria's Secret Fashion show last night. With Thanksgiving less than a week away, Eva is gearing up to cook for her family while making preparations for her new restaurant. The actress dished about her culinary skills and her new endeavor at the Samsung party on Wednesday night. She said, "I love to cook! I'm a big, big cooker in my family, so this is kind of an extension of my house. I feel like everybody's going to be in my living room." Eva probably has a lot more time to give her full attention to Beso now that production has shut down on Desperate Housewives.
