Will The Dark Knight Sweep the Awards It's Nominated For?
Christian Bale and Aaron Eckhart proudly showed off their trophies after The Dark Knight took home five out of five People's Choice Awards last night, including Best Movie of the Year. The film will be up for more honors tonight at the Critics' Choice Awards and again on Sunday at the Golden Globes. We'll have to wait a few more weeks to hear about Oscar nods, but tell us — do you think The Dark Knight will sweep the awards it's nominated for?
The Dark Knight Brings Gotham to London
After spending the weekend with their adorable little girl, leading man Christian Bale had his gorgeous wife on his arm at the London premiere of The Dark Knight. Gorgeous Maggie sexed it up in her revealing jumpsuit but maintained the all black dress code, as did Kelly Osbourne who still showed off some leg. After the amazing record-breaking opening weekend success the movie enjoyed in the states this weekend, we'll have to see how its magic translates overseas.
The Dark Knight Falls on NYC
The long anticipated premiere of The Dark Knight finally arrived last night, and the stars dressed accordingly to the movie's title. Maggie Gyllenhaal, Blake Lively, and Lauren Conrad all looked gorgeous in muted tones, while Christian Bale continued to prove that he looks hot in any color. Of course, there was one very important star missing but Heath Ledger's family and friends like Naomi Watts were there in his place, while his castmates had plenty to say in tribute to the late actor.

The stars of The Dark Knight came out early in Tokyo this morning to keep the Batman mania going overseas. Christian Bale and Maggie Gyllenhaal showed off their smiles, while Aaron Eckhart looked a little serious after the big premiere last night. Christian and Maggie Light Up The Dark Knight in Barcelona
Christian Bale seemed to put his very public recent troubles behind him as he made his way down the red carpet with his wife Sibi at the Barcelona premiere of The Dark Knight yesterday evening. Bale apparently avoided reporters but spent lots of time signing autographs — he even had a bit of a smile on his face. His co-stars Maggie Gyllenhaal and Aaron Eckhart also made the trip over from the UK to attend the Spanish screening.

While Katie Holmes is off having some fun in the sun in Cannes, Maggie Gyllenhaal has been hard at work to fill Katie's shoes as Rachel Dawes in The Dark Knight. One fan was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of Maggie and Aaron Eckhart on the movie set in Chicago. Anthony Michael Hall, who played the lovably geeky Brian in The Breakfast Club also just signed on to the movie, but his part is top secret.
Robert Pattinson Celebrates a Certifiably Big Weekend
Robert Pattinson hung around NYC after working hard to promote New Moon last week. He was able to join friends yesterday for dinner at Megu, and he was spotted on his way out in his usual jeans and sneakers. Robert's due for a little time off now that the film is a major hit — it broke the midnight screening record, had the biggest single day gross ever and went on to enjoy the third biggest opening weekend in history behind The Dark Knight and Spider-man 3.

- Morgan Freeman was involved in a car accident last night in Mississippi. He was driving when he may have fallen asleep at the wheel, losing control and causing his car to roll over three times. He and an unidentified female passenger were airlifted to a hospital in Memphis.
