Apparently no one wanted to be the devil at the premiere of the movie the other night. The two stars, Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway, wore Valentino and even SJP wore D&G. The cast looked fabulous and the evening remained focused on the movie as OAN reports that tabloid-friendly names like Lohan and Hilton were missing from the scene. Anne Hathaway Has All Kinds of Musical Appreciation

Anne Hathaway rocked out to some tunes thanks to her fancy headphones on a walk around LA yesterday. She's opened up about her favorite artists in the past, but apparently Miss Hathaway is also something of a singer herself. Last night she and her Devil Wears Prada costar, Emily Blunt, sang backup for the band at the Green Door after a long night of partying. Sounds like Anne has no problem finding ways to unwind after her long days of acting and making fancy commercials for Lancôme.

BAFTA Stars Share Thoughts Over a Spot of Tea

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts held its traditional tea party at The Four Seasons in Beverly Hills on Sunday. Penelope Cruz, Kate Winslet, Toni Collette and Emily Blunt were just some of the stars who came out to sip on tea and nosh some English favorites like fish and chips wrapped in newspaper and cucumber finger sandwiches. The party-goers were in good spirits and willing to chat. Here's highlights:

Kate Winslet called the many awards-season events "fantastic. I try and stay calm and keep my shoulders back."
Fantastic Four's Ioan Gruffudd was on the lookout for Winslet, with whom he (kind of) co-starred nearly a decade ago in Titanic. "I was the one with the flashlight pulling her onto the lifeboat as the ship went down," he recalled with a giggle.
Emily Blunt [who is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for The Devil Wears Prada] turned to her crooner beau, Michael Bublé, to quiet her jitters. "It's been my job to calm her down," said Bublé, as Blunt placed her hand on his shoulder.

Emily Blunt is barely recognizable without the red hair and brightly colored eye shadow she sported in The Devil Wears Prada. She has some stiff competition from Toni Collette, Abigail Breslin, and Jennifer Hudson but the one thing she does have over those three? She's British! Fall TV Preview: Ugly Betty

Ugly Betty is one of the most highly anticipated shows this season. Betty premieres tonight at 8/7c on ABC. The show is executive produced by Salma Hayak (who does a hilarious cameo in the first episode!) and is based on the wildy popular Colombian telenovela, Yo Soy Betty La Fea. Its roots may be in telenovelas, but you can't help but compare the show to this summer's hit, The Devil Wears Prada.

Betty Suarez (America Ferrera, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants), a somewhat unfortunate looking, but extremely genuine and hard-working girl from Queens, lands a job as the Assistant to the Editor of the extremely fashionable Mode magazine. Bradford Meade (Alan Dale, The OC), head of Mead Publishing, Mode's parent company, hires Betty to keep his womanizing son and Editor of Mode from continuing to sleep with his assistants. Other notable cast members include singer/actress Vanessa Williams as Wilhelmina Slater, the extremely bitter Mode fashionista who is not at all happy about being passed over for the top spot by the Boss's son.

According to reports, Ugly Betty will differ from The Devil Wears Prada in that it will not make over Betty, she will continue to be her charming self throughout the season. We enjoyed the first episode and can't wait to see where it's headed. The only observation we had was why they felt the need to make this an hour long show. It seems like it would be more appropriate for a 30 minute sitcom but I am hoping ABC proves us wrong.

CW and NBC Take TCAs Through the Weekend

The fun rolled on this weekend at the TCAs! After the panels on Saturday and Sunday, came last night's big party. The crowd included old favorites from The Office, new all-stars like the cast of Kath and Kim, and a few select Heroes, including Hayden and Milo, who kept their distance. The Bravo reality stars kept us laughing all night at the soiree. Another special treat was the beautiful Bar Refaeli who was there to promote her new show Ironic Iconic America. She discussed the show, favorite designers, and just being a jeans and T-shirt kind of girl at heart - more on all that later.

As for the panels, the CW kicked things off Saturday with new guilty pleasures all around including 90210, the new Privileged and Stylista - think The Devil Wears Prada gone reality. Sunday the adorable cast of Friday Night Lights hit the stage to discuss their third season and taking the show to DirecTV. The lovely Debra Messing dazzled in green to promote The Starter Wife becoming a series. Head over to Buzz for all the latest news from the weekend.

Sienna and Anne For Marchesa

Sienna Miller and Anne Hathaway both looked absolutely stunning as they walked the red carpet for the 2nd anniversary party of British fashion label Marchesa in NYC. Sienna played host at the event wearing the label's creation, and Anne looked stunning proving she doesn't need her Devil's wardrobe to look fabulous. Here's more:

Sienna, who stars in the upcoming Factory Girl, was invited to host the Bergdorf Goodman bash by Marchesa design duo Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig. And the 24-year-old style icon was, naturally, sporting one of the label's creations when she turned up at the star-studded event.

Launched in 2004, Marchesa is the hot label du jour for red carpet affairs on both sides of the Atlantic, also including Felicity Huffman, Penelope Cruz, Mischa Barton and Scarlett Johannson among its high-profile fans.

Like Sienna, Salman Rushdie's statuesque wife Padma Lakshmi was showing off her pins in an elegant cocktail number, while The Devil Wears Prada star Anne, who admits to being something of a tomboy as a little girl, delivered full-on silver screen glamour in figure-hugging scarlet gown.

Anne Would Rather Be Strong Over Skinny

Anne Hathaway didn't seem bothered by the cameras as she walked through LAX this weekend. Things haven't always been easy for her, but we love to see what an excellent, confident role model she has become. Anne told the British Glamour about becoming a woman, loving her body the way it is, and what it took to fit into those fabulous The Devil Wears Prada outfits. Here are highlights:

"Obsessing about weight is a big old waste of time," Hathaway, 24, tells the British edition of Glamour in its April issue. "It's completely understandable as a teenager to fret about your body," she says. "It's scary because you don't know how it's going to wind up. But I'm not a teenager any more; my body's chosen its shape. I'd rather be strong than skinny for most roles."

Hathaway admits she's not a size zero, adding, "'I've had directors say to me, 'You're the best actress for the role, but you've put on weight recently.' If people can't understand you've put on five pounds, I don't want to deal with them." Hathaway last year had to lose weight for her Prada role, telling reporters at a press conference in Venice that not eating that extra croissant was "a question of how much you're willing to commit."

Anne Really Wants You To Think She's A Bad Girl

This isn't the first time Anne has promoted her bad girl side, but she's definitely taken it to a higher level in the August issue of Marie Claire. We really enjoy her as the sweet and innocent good girl we saw in The Devil Wears Prada and The Princess Diaries, however, Anne makes it pretty clear that she doesn't love her good girl reputation. Here's more from the article:

On not being a prude:
“I love [the band] Peaches. When people are all like, ‘Do you think you have a squeaky-clean image?’ I’m like, ‘Could a squeaky-clean girl know all the lyrics to ‘Teaches of Peaches’? I mean, my favorite song is called ‘F-k the Pain Away.’”

On bursting into tears during Brokeback Mountain:
“Didn’t stop for an hour. And Kirsten Dunst, who was going out with Jake, was like two rows behind me, and [Jake’s sister] Maggie Gyllenhaal was right behind me, and we were all crying so hard; my boyfriend offered Maggie his hankerchief, and she was sharing it with Kirsten. And I’m thinking, That’s my boyfriend’s – can I have my Kleenex that you b-tches are using?”

Sure, being a bad girl is fun but it sounds like she's trying way too hard to prove something - and we really like her as a nice girl. Besides, with all the bad girls in Hollywood already, we're tired of that type.

Kirsten Works on How to Lose Friends & Alienate People

Now that the promotion machine that was Spider-Man 3 is over Kirsten can turn her focus to those smaller budget projects that she loves to do. At the moment she's busy shooting How to Lose Friends and Alienate People in London. It's based on Toby Young's memoir that chronicles his failed effort to make it at Vanity Fair. Kirsten plays an editor who has an affair with the lead character, played by Simon Pegg (Hot Fuzz). I enjoyed the book but I am not expecting this film to turn out like The Devil Wears Prada.

Madonna's Designs Coming Soon to an H&M Near You

Madonna is kicking her M by Madonna fashion line into high gear. The clothes will be available this weekend in Hong Kong at H&M bu we have to wait another month before they hit the states. Until then you'll see the billboards that are popping up all over the world, and you check out this commercial. There's something very familiar about this futuristic/Devil Wears Prada-meets-Cinderella motif, but I have to say that I like it! It's awesome to see Madonna taking control and sitting in the driver's seat where she belongs. We can't wait to see the clothes in stores soon.
