Justin Timberlake, the actor, was spotted on the set of his new movie The Open Road with Jeff Bridges in Louisiana yesterday. He must feel right at home being down south again because he's looking so natural at the gas pump - must be his effortless acting in front of the camera. We can't imagine Jessica Biel is too excited about those rumors about her boy secretly hanging out with Kate Hudson, but spending time in another state should keep JT out of trouble for a while.

Orlando Bloom Is a Regular Mr. Fix-It

Orlando Bloom got some help from a friend Thursday when he needed to fix his motorcycle in NYC. He popped up on the East Coast after spending time in LA last week, making the trip with Miranda Kerr and his dog Sidi. Orlando seems to have a motorcycle in each of the many cities he calls home, and occasionally he even has a hot friend like Olivier Martinez or Eric Bana to keep him company on the open road.

Taylor Swift Sparkles on the Today Show

Taylor Swift glittered from her dress to her guitar on the Today Show stage earlier this morning. She performed a few of her hits to a crowd of happy fans to promote her upcoming Summer tour with Kellie Pickler. As she gears up to hit the road, Taylor recently opened up about her songs, friends, and relationships. Here's more:

On her songs: "You know I don't really rebel in a lot of areas in my life. . . . But the one place where I'm allowed to rebel, and the one place where I'm allowed to not worry about censoring myself is my music. I don't need to edit names out of songs and I don't need to edit details out of my songs because I've always been able to be honest with my music. That's the one place where I'm never ever going to change how I do things."
On dating: "When I'm thinking about going on a date with some guy or considering liking him, it really doesn't matter what they do or how that affects my career. . . . When you strategize a relationship too much, like, 'We're not gonna be public about it, and we're gonna say this in interviews,' when you think it all out, I think that complicates the relationship and I think that's unfair for the relationship. I don't look for boyfriends, I don't really scour the awards shows for who I'm going to date (laughs), but I think love happens when you're not looking for it, and when it happens, I'm not going to be the one to overthink it."

Taylor might not have time for boys in the next few months, but she's got her head on her shoulders for whenever she's ready for another relationship.

Kate Winslet's Feeling Fondly Towards Her Family and Friends

Kate Winslet and her daughter Mia put on their coats yesterday afternoon to run errands together in NYC, but we're more excited to see another hot red carpet look from the actress at this Sunday's Golden Globes. Despite the praise Kate's receiving for her work in both The Reader and Revolutionary Road, she knows what's most important. Kate opened up to Elle UK about her life, finding an unexpected friendship with Leonardo DiCaprio, and her very happy marriage. Here's more:

On her life: "Yes, my life is incredible but, oh my God, I have to work at it. It's the same for any working woman. You run and you work, you run and you work, and you try not to let anything drop."
On her relationship with Leo: "Leo’s friendship is a major thing in my life. It’s a big relationship," says Kate. "We met when we were very young and did this incredible film [Titanic], which changed both our lives, but the best thing to come out of it was this friendship."
On her marriage to director Sam Mendes: "It was the last thing I expected, but it really was love at first sight," she says. "I woke up in the middle of the night after we'd met and I had this feeling in my stomach. I just knew what it was. I didn't want to stop being with him. I know categorically I'm married to the right man. I feel understood by him, completely known. And I get the enormity of what I'm saying, which is why I’m so grateful."

Whatever happens at the Globes this weekend, it seems like Kate knows how to be happy no matter the amount of professional praise.

Pete Calls Up to Deny Bronx Baby Photo Sale

Pete Wentz went shopping with a friend in LA yesterday picking up what looks like some colorful goodies for his new son. Most of you wouldn't buy a magazine with Bronx on the cover, but Pete revealed Bronx's baby pictures weren't up for sale in the first place. Apparently it was Joe shopping around the photos, but Pete has stepped in to talk about his and Ashlee's decision. In a blog titled "ring ring, its the truth calling":

About baby pics gossip: truth is like every celeb couple we were offered mounds and mounds of money by mags from here to Guam to pimp out the baby. We just don't want to go down that road with him.

We are not placing judgment on those that do as they often use the money in a very charitable way. However, we have made the decision to not sell Bronx's baby pictures right now. . . . We understand the curiosity, just not the viciousness that comes along with it when it becomes so insatiable. We know there will be a time when we'll share him with everyone because that insatiable curiosity becomes unsafe or simply because we're proud parents who want to show him off! We know our fans support and care about us and want to know about our family and we've always been straight up and open with those who care about us most, so at some time, when it makes sense, Bronx will be out in the world.

In the meantime, we'd like to say thank you to those who have allowed us relative privacy in letting us just be a family for now - and to enjoy all the happiness he's brought us.

ps trust me he's cute. he looks like his mommy.

We're excited to see Ashlee's mini me, but until his parents feel like the time is right, we'll settle for Pete's celebrity blogging and getting to see Ashlee out and about with their friends instead.

Kate Winslet's Husband Keeps Things Exciting With Leo

Kate Winslet glows on the latest cover of Parade Magazine and brings her refreshing candor to the interview as she promotes Revolutionary Road. Kate opened up about what it was like working with Leonardo DiCaprio after all of these years and how her husband helped keep their chemistry natural. Here are some highlights:

On working with her husband and Leo: "Sam would try to surprise me or surprise Leo when we were doing scenes together, and because Leo and I do have sort of an almost telepathic connection, because we've known each other for such a long time and have remained friends consistently over all of these years, I know how Leo thinks, I know how he works, as he does with me. Sometimes, in order to just twist the scene around, Sam would quietly say to Leo, 'Just surprise her; try this thing.' Or he would come to me and say, 'Try this -- don't tell him you're going to do it.' So he would have to do that, so that Leo and I were able to keep it fresh and alive."
On how she and Leo have aged onscreen: "I’m like, ‘Yes, damn it! Look at those foreheads move!' I mean, he has this amazing furrow here"-she points to a spot between her eyebrows-"which wasn’t as prominent then, and this"-Winslet points to the wrinkles on her own forehead-"is much more prominent in me now. I just love seeing those things. I am enjoying my face changing, as well as realizing that at the same time, as you get older, the machine isn’t as well-oiled as it was."
On Halle Berry's recently saying, "Kate Wins-let is always naked, sitting on a toilet, or running buck naked. She’s free. I want to be the kind of actress who can really be comfortable with my body like that.”: “Oh! That’s so amazing. That is worth the pain! I am thrilled to hear someone like Halle say something like that. But what I would want to say to her is, ‘Well, you can,’ because all I do is say, ‘I don’t give a ____!’”

We can't wait to see if the chemistry is still there between Kate and Leo but considering the talent between those two, we can count on a fabulous film.

Jen Avoids Dancing With the Devil

Jennifer Aniston was in business mode with her glasses on as she stopped by an office in LA on Friday. She's had her hands full with work lately as she keeps right on promoting Marley & Me, and her latest interview with NY Times Magazine was released over the weekend. Here are more highlights where Jen weighs in on her geeky side:

On camera phones: "My favorite move is when people pretend that they’re on the phone and they kind of dial and take the picture at the same time. You hope they’re doing it for themselves - that they’re not thinking, I’m going to dine out on you."
On her first TV appearance: "My dad became a soap opera actor, and I was an extra in a skating rink scene on the soap. I didn’t audition. It was nepotism all the way."
On being a part of Friends: "When you accept a role in a pilot, you automatically sign up for five years. You think it’s scary to walk down the aisle? Try signing a five-year contract for a show you may not want to be part of down the road. That’s why 'Friends' was so great. During the first week of shooting, I thought, I’ll be heartbroken if this doesn’t continue. It was the first time I felt like part of the cool kids."

Kate Winslet Reveals All and Talks Leo in Vanity Fair

Kate Winslet looked gorgeous and sexy stripping down to nothing but thigh highs and heels with her messy blonde hair for the new Vanity Fair. Kate is promoting two December films, Revolutionary Road and The Reader - both of which are already getting Oscar buzz. In her interview she opens up about meeting her husband Sam Mendes, working with Leonardo DiCaprio again, and her weight issues. Here's more:

On her acting skills: "I know that in order to do my job as truthfully as I can-because to me that’s everything-you really have to not give a f**k [about what people think]. You have to be prepared to look stupid and you have to be prepared to walk around naked in front of a crew of people you’ve never met before and may never see again. And it is scary."
On her weight: "This is going to sound really weird, but I never had a desire to be famous. I never had huge ambitions-never.… I was fat. I didn’t know any fat famous actresses. I just did not see myself in that world at all, and I’m being very sincere. You know, once a fat kid, always a fat kid. Because you always think that you just look a little bit wrong or a little bit different from everyone else. And I still sort of have that. I often look at women who wear great jeans and high heels and nice little T-shirts wandering around the city and I think, I should make more of an effort. I should look like that. But then I think, 'They can’t be happy in those heels'."

On meeting her director husband who was offering her two plays: "You’re not going to say ‘no’ to meeting with Sam Mendes, are ya now? Didn’t want to do the plays, definitely wanted to get his phone number."
On reuniting with Leo on-screen: "Leo and I were always aware that if we were going to do something together again that there would be a sense of expectation. It was going to have to be the right thing. We could see ourselves playing that married couple. The friendship that we have and the solidity of that was something we would be able to use. There’s an emotional shorthand that Leo and I have and a physical ease because we’ve known each other so long.… Leo and I, you know, are sort of kindred spirits-we’re cut from the same cloth. Both of us just got lucky [at a young age], started working and kind of learned on the job. We’re sort of self-educated actors in a way, and we’ve just been lucky to work with unbelievable directors and actors who have taught us so much. I mean, it’s been spectacular."

Leo and Sam weighed in on working with Kate and each other and both raved about the talented actress. Leo even called her "the most talented actress of her generation," so it sounds like we shouldn't be surprised to see her name when award season nominations start rolling out.

All of Gwyneth's Roads Lead to Success

Gwyneth Paltrow, Mario Batali, and a few of their celebrity friends like Bono and Helena Christensen got together last night at the Queen Sophia Spanish Institute in NYC to celebrate the debut of Mario and Gwyneth's Spain . . . On the Road Again. The PBS travel food show premiered over the weekend and has already been picked up for a second season in Italy - but that's not Gwyneth's only project. She's also just launched a website called Goop.com, which is dedicated to nourishing one's inner self. Gwyneth is all about sharing her passions these days, and at yesterday's event she opened up about her love of food and family. She said:

On being her own chef: "I cook all the meals for my house. I love to cook. [...] We have a wood burning pizza oven in our garden. Right now the weather is nice in London, so I'm using that oven a lot. You can cook anything in there. It's amazing."
On family tradition: "My dad was a famous pancake maker and I'm working on [adapting his] recipe right now. I'm making mine slightly healthier."

Gwyneth's mother Blythe Danner was there to show her support and also compliment her daughter's cooking. Whether or not you believe that she never diets, it seems like Gwyneth is well on her way to starting multiple side careers that sound pretty yummy.
