Ashlee, Pete, and Bronx Keep Trucking Along
Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson brought Bronx along yesterday for a family trip to a CVS in LA. Bronx looked excited to get home and play with his new toy truck, which Pete handled as the trio made their way to the car. Ashlee coordinated her all-black outfit with her new dark hair, which she's free to alter now that she's off Melrose Place — though we're going to see a whole lot more of her in some saucy scenes still to air this season.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Stick Together in Work and Travel
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen had the layers piled on Tuesday when they arrived at LAX. They're back in California after a few weeks in NYC, where they debuted their new Olsenboye range for JC Penny on Good Morning America. The twins also took to the city streets in a customized treat truck to show off their line, which is set to include bags and shoes as well.
Brad Has a Minor Motorcyle Mishap
Brad Pitt took one of his many motorcycles for a joy ride around LA on Saturday. He stopped off for a quick bite at the Beverly Hills Hotel, but his serene and solo morning was interrupted by a little trouble when he had a small accident on his way home. Brad apparently clipped a car's rearview mirror when going between two vehicles, and he hopped off his bike to exchange information before a tow truck came along.
LL and Sam Celebrate Her 31st With Ice Cream For Everyone
Samantha Ronson celebrated her 31st birthday at Matsuhisa in LA last night with Lindsay Lohan by her side at all times, of course, and a special late-night treat for all their friends — including Nicole Richie, who looked like a hot mama on a night away from Harlow. The girls rented an ice cream truck to pull up outside the party where LL and Sam even climbed in to act as servers. The celebrating started the night before when Lindsay led the crowd at Crown Bar in singing Happy Birthday as the clock struck midnight, but the real party was last night.
Mischa Has Her Coffee and Cigarettes
Mischa Barton reported to work for another day of filming The Beautiful Life in NYC yesterday. She's been spending lots of time bonding with her costars, though she also brought her dog along for some additional companionship. The show's producer, Ashton Kutcher, recently paid a visit to the set to check in on things as filming of the first season keeps trucking along.
Kate Hudson Keeps Her Front Row Seat Warm
Kate Hudson got into character with Casey Affleck on the Oklahoma set of The Killer Inside Me last week before heading back to NYC. On Saturday Ryder joined his mom to cheer on Alex Rodriguez at Yankee Stadium, though he seemed more interested in his trucks than in watching his mom's new boyfriend. Ryder's grandma isn't a big fan of Alex either — apparently Goldie Hawn is worried that Kate's going to get her heart broken again.
Ushers Big and Small Explore the Miami Surf
Usher Raymond and his mini Usher V hit the beach in Miami yesterday to soak up the sun with friends. The little one, who goes by the nickname Cinco, was too cute leading his dad by the hand and playing with his trucks at the seaside. Usher recently talked about wanting his sons to follow their passions while promoting the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Jim and Evan's Sandy Sunday
Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy love their long walks on the beach, but Sunday was boys' day out with Jenny's son Evan. The guys had plenty of sand toys and trucks to keep them occupied, and both Jim and Evan were all smiles throughout the playdate. In the past Jenny has gushed about how great Jim is with her son, and it's pretty clear that Evan has both a friend and a role model in his mom's other main man.
It Was a Summer-like Weekend For the Stefani-Rossdales
Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale were out and about with their two boys this weekend, taking them to Fred Segal and then hanging out at a Malibu beach house. Zuma was wearing Burberry shorts, and considering this newborn is already sporting designer clothes, if he's anything like Kingston and his mom, he's going to have a unique style all his own. At one point Kingston had a little meltdown, which is rare for us to see but totally normal for a 2-year-old.
