Jessica Really Appeals to the Teens
Apparently Jessica and Cash didn't have time to take advantage of being in Paris after Eva and Tony's wedding, because the two were at the airport on their way out yesterday morning. And don't they just look thrilled as usual (though I'm loving her coat)? Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer may have been a bit overshadowed by the other Summer blockbusters, but the Teen Choice Awards committee took notice and nominated Jessica for 3 awards: Hissy Fit, Female Hottie, Action Adventure Actress.
America Has to Work For Her Nominations
America Ferrera pulled on Betty's neon coat to film scenes for Ugly Betty with Michael Urie in NYC yesterday. We weren't treated to a new episode last week, but we'll get a fresh batch of drama at Mode magazine tonight. America's hard work has earned her a nomination for a SAG award, so hopefully the actress will make it to the show for another fabulous award season red carpet.

It was a party that would make Mode's Fey Sommers proud last night at the Mondrian in LA to celebrate today's Ugly Betty Season 1 DVD release. All the fabulous UBers looked great on the red carpet, though I will say that I'm especially fond of Mr. Mabius these days (and my other favorite cuties -- Mark Indelicato and Michael Urie). Yay.

Lindsay Comes Back to an Ugly Flood of Drama
Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson flew into JFK yesterday and headed to Citrine for Sam's DJing gig. A lot has been going on for LL while she's been overseas, starting with rumors that her career is in trouble after her Ugly Betty drama even though Dina laughed off stories that Lindsay fought with America. Meanwhile, Michael is talking about how he's done dealing with family issues in the press and that he's sorry for being so nasty about Sam.
Lindsay Lohan Loses Yet Another Job
Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson had their leather jackets on and LV luggage ready to go as they left Manhattan yesterday and arrived in LA. Lindsay's stint on Ugly Betty is over after last week's episode, with her character getting the boot from Mode. Kimmie isn't the only one having trouble holding a job — LL will no longer be hosting the World Music Awards in Monaco next weekend.
