America Has to Work For Her Nominations

America Ferrera pulled on Betty's neon coat to film scenes for Ugly Betty with Michael Urie in NYC yesterday. We weren't treated to a new episode last week, but we'll get a fresh batch of drama at Mode magazine tonight. America's hard work has earned her a nomination for a SAG award, so hopefully the actress will make it to the show for another fabulous award season red carpet.

Lindsay and Samantha Remember 9/11

Lindsay Lohan tried out Samantha's trademark smirk while posing at the Ultimat Vodka Launch in NYC last night, LL's third party of the evening in addition to the Stand Up For a Cure event and Maire Claire bash. After the long night, Lindsay was right back to shooting scenes for Ugly Betty this morning, though the seven-year anniversary of 9/11 was not far from her and Samantha's thoughts. Both girls blogged about it - Lindsay reminding people to take a moment to reflect while Samantha recounted her experience being in NYC during the tragic event.

Lindsay's Costume Helps Her Fit Right in With Ugly Betty

After her whirlwind week ending at the VMA afterparty, we missed spotting Lindsay Lohan with Samantha at the MySpace/TechCrunch party on Monday, but it wasn't because LL was taking a rest - instead she's already back in NYC working on Ugly Betty. She was rocking a flashy outfit to go with her super long extensions on set with America Ferrera and Vanessa Williams yesterday. Lindsay told Marie Claire that she's never going back to her old ways, and the committed actress will be a welcome addition when the full Fall lineup returns.

Lindsay Keeps Her Top On And Her Girls Close

Lindsay Lohan looked like she could be a sailor in her nautical blue and white stripes in SoHo and later on the set of Ugly Betty joined by Samantha and Dina yesterday. Samantha just got back from a quick trip to Australia where she blogging about missing a certain someone, while LL kept herself busy with work and sharing her political thoughts and music she doesn't like. Speaking of work, Lindsay won't be topless in Playboy anytime soon but her Labor Pains trailer arrived and we're very excited to see her funny on the big screen again. In Lohan family news, Michael is still talking but this time he has only glowing things to say about his family (including Dina!) and that Lindsay will attend his father's nontraditional funeral later this month.

Lohan Family Drama Heats Up Because Michael Won't Shut Up

Lindsay Lohan took a break from filming Ugly Betty in NYC yesterday to unwind with cigarettes and Samantha in NYC after the massive amount of drama that her father has been fueling in the past couple of days. After LL lashed out at him on her MySpace blog, her father answered back, blaming Dina for his suspicions about Samantha and saying that he's already got a TV special in the works to expose Dina for being a hypocrite. Here's a taste of what he wants to say:

"I've never taken or earned one penny from my daughter. Meanwhile, all the people around her, including her mother, are earning money off of her. They want publicity. They're there for self-serving reasons. I didn't have my own reality TV show. As far as I'm concerned, Samantha Ronson doesn't exist. I've met her. She can't even look in my eye. She knows I know what she's all about . . . She's controlling. Sooner or later, her relationship with Samantha will fall apart, and I'm sure Lindsay will come back someday and say, 'Daddy, you were right all along' - just like she did with so many other people in her past. I'm not holding out hope. I know she will."

Unfortunately, LL's family sadness doesn't end there. Her grandfather passed away yesterday, which has already brought more anger from Michael regarding Dina and their children. To top it all off, her uncle was sentenced to a year in prison for fraud. Lindsay seems to be staying busy with work and Samantha through it all, but unfortunately it looks like the Lohan family drama is here to stay.

Lindsay Flashes Back and Answers Back With Samantha

Lindsay Lohan looked like a flashback to her younger self in her cheerleading costume and vinyl skirt on the set of Ugly Betty in NYC yesterday. She seemed happy to be back to work, but her personal life is still a little rocky. Both Lindsay and Samantha took to their MySpace blogs to respond to her father's comments about Samantha's influence. Lindsay lashed out about her father's addiction to fame saying,

If you have something to say to me, say it to my face- that's what i have believed my whole life- don't be a coward and say it to others first, let alone all the media in the world- i think we know where the rest of this blog is going...

If you guessed it had to do with my father- then you guessed right! It really hurts, because i have tried- after all that my mother and siblings have gone through, i really tried to make things work- For the hope of having a father again-wanting things to change- even though people have said, some people will forever remain the same.

Having said that- the people were right, and he is yet to change- but this time, without his daughter by his side- He has become a public embaressment and a bully- To my family, my co-workers, my friends, and a girl that means the world to me (its obvious who that is).

He has no idea what is going on in my life because i have chosen not to involve him in it- His recent attack on my life and my loved ones is simply for an ADDICTION THAT HE HAS- FAME. Why he feels the need to comment on anything in my life that i may want to keep private, is beyond comprehension- If he really cared about me and my life, then he would learn to respect my wishes by staying out of it.

Samantha has not and would never sell me out. Nor has my mother, who is wonderful.

This further proves that any information that my father has about me or the people in my life is internet based- and about as accurate as a page six item.

I'm not going to engage any further, though i probably could go on...

I have said enough, i have a therapist, and it is not the the camera man at x17.

Meanwhile, Samantha also took to her blog to respond to Michael - even going so far as to say he's just sad LL likes her more than him - and deny any rumor of a tell-all. Sounds like Michael has gotten himself back to square one in terms of repairing things with Lindsay, and now that everyone's said their piece, maybe they can all move on.

Lindsay Lohan was in uniform and hard at work on Ugly Betty in NY yesterday with both her costar America Ferrera and lady Samantha Ronson by her side on set. Lindsay and America may not be BFFs on TV considering how LL's character treated Betty in the season finale, but luckily in real life the two girls have no need to battle since they're both favorites with spots - Lohan at No. 32, America No. 65 - on this year's PopSugar100! If you're as excited as we are to see Lindsay playing a funny role you'll also love the news that she's coming soon in video game form. Clueless, Pretty in Pink and, yup, Mean Girls games are all on their way, which I cannot wait to see.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson made time for some on-street cuddling last Friday in NYC before heading out to the Hamptons for the weekend. Today, Lindsay was back in the city on the set of Ugly Betty, where she'll be filming for the next couple days. No on-location visits from Sam this time, but this weekend the talked-about duo is rumored to be in Syracuse, NY, where Samantha has a DJ gig.
