Despite rumors that Graydon Carter was scaling things back for this year's Vanity Fair Oscars party, the soiree was as A-List as ever at its new venue the Sunset Towers. Jennifer Aniston could relax after her presenting duties, and when she and John Mayer hit the party, they couldn't keep their hands off each other. The couple cuddled up every chance they got, and he twittered a sweet message about her.

We were upset Katie Holmes did not walk the red carpet last night with presenter and husband Tom but we did get to see lots of the happy couple at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. We must say Tom's fabulous haircut made us love him like back in his Jerry Maguire days. While Tom has never stopped working, Katie is finally speaking out about getting ready to go back to work in a month.

Winners and Stars Spread Out the Afterparty Love
After the Oscars were all the afterparties, and while Vanity Fair and Elton John may have drawn the most star-studded crowds, there seemed to be a celebrity attendee at all of them. Hilary Duff swung by Leeza Gibbons's 1st Annual Night to Make a Difference where she was joined by Paris Hilton and Jessica Biel, who was out of her worst-dressed contending gown and into something more bright. Elsewhere in town Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth walked the red carpet at a party benefiting Children Uniting Nations.
Lindsay Parties Oscar Weekend Away With Samantha
Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson cuddled up to each other at the Mercedes-Benz Oscar party last night in LA. Lindsay paired a LWD with black platforms posing on one of the many red carpets of the night. She addressed her recent weight loss, explaining that stress from work meetings may have caused it, but said she has not changed her eating habits.
