Doutzen Kroes (pronounced Dow-tzen Kroos) (born January 23, 1985 in Eastermar, the Netherlands) is a Dutch-Frisian model and currently one of the Victoria`s Secret Angels. Kroes was born in the town of Eastermar, in the province of Friesland, the Netherlands. After graduating high school (HAVO), she sent snapshots to modeling agency Paparazzi in Amsterdam.

New Years Eve 2004/2005 a good portion of Europe cancelled their New Years Eve festivities to send the money to Sumatra to help the victims of the Tsunami. Instead people came into the church to light at candle for the people at midnight. It was a beautiful gesture.
