After one all-too-brief season of Britney & Kevin: Chaotic, who would have ever thought that someday you might hear an awards presenter say, “And the Emmy goes to… Britney Spears“? Well, the pop star has come one step closer to making that into a reality with her inclusion on the ballot of possible Emmy nominees.
For her double-shot guest appearance as Abby on CBS hit How I Met Your Mother, Brit-Brit is one of 41 actresses on the official ballot released by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences to its voters.

LONDON (Reuters) - The Brits, an annual showcase of the UK recording industry, announced on Tuesday that the 2008 lifetime achievement award is being given to Paul McCartney.
The former Beatle, being given the award next February for his outstanding contribution to music, was hailed by Brits chairman Ged Doherty as "one of the greatest songwriters of all time and a member of Britain's biggest ever group."
McCartney is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the most successful composer and musician in history with a career spanning five decades and sales of more than 100 million albums.

The object of Daniel Radcliffe’s affections has been found after the Harry Potter star confessed he’d fallen for a mystery girl at an Australian event last year.
The young Brit recently told the Sydney Daily Telegraph newspaper that he had been bewitched by a girl with the most amazing eyes at the 2007 AFI awards.
