Cent’s ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins has been ordered to pay $4,500 in unpaid rent on the charred remains of the rapper’s New York home.
The Long Island estate, which is owned by 50 Cent and was occupied by his former lover Tompkins and their 10-year-old son Marquise, was set ablaze last month in what New York cops have called a “highly suspicious” inferno. Tompkins later accused the rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, of starting the fire himself - allegations he has vehemently denied.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Hip hop mogul 50 Cent, Universal Music Group and several of its record labels were sued on Wednesday for promoting a "gangsta lifestyle" by a 14-year-old boy who says friends of the rapper assaulted him.
The lawsuit filed by James Rosemond and his mother, Cynthia Reed, says Universal Music Group -- owned by Vivendi SA -- and its labels Interscope Records, G-Unit Records and Shady Records, bear responsibility for the assault because they encourage artists to pursue violent, criminal lifestyles.
The lawsuit also names 50 Cent -- whose real name is Curtis Jackson -- Violator Management, Violator CEO Chris Lighty, Tony Yayo, a rapper and a member of 50 Cent's G-Unit hip hop group, and Lowell Fletcher, an employee of Yayo.

Cent and I clearly have a different definition of friendship. And I think I like his a hell of a lot more than mine. While I always thought it meant being there for the other person in good times and bad, occasionally drinking too much with them, complaining about men together, and having the occasional naked pillow fight, 50’s idea of friendship involves lavish vintage gifts.

There hasn't been any juicy drama in the hip hop industry lately, but thanks to 50 Cent, we might have some now. 50 took a swipe at Jay-Z insisting that he was "no one" before Beyonce.
50 says, "I'm a big fan of Jay-Z, but outside of the States and hip-hop circles, no one really knew who he was until he married Beyonce."
