It is one of Sydney's most prestigious apartment buildings, right on the harbour and home to a clutch of local celebrities, including, until recently, Nicole Kidman. Problem is, when the Hollywood star sold up, she left her A$4.5m (£2.1m) yacht behind – and her former neighbours are furious about it.
Strict bylaws regulate life at Pier 6/7 in Walsh Bay, a rejuvenated former wharf area containing some of the city's most expensive homes.

Cate Blanchett had always been a bit of a hero of mine – she manages a demanding career with motherhood, and looks good while she does it. She even makes choices in that career that are good for her family, if not the best for her career. Having won an Oscar in 2005 she might have gone in for the big Hollywood career, taking on movie role after movie role in a bid to cement her position on the A-list.

38 year-old actress and mother Cate Blanchett doesn’t mince words when it comes to explaining how she feels about her fellow thespians and others who undergo plastic surgery. She says that she doesn’t find it attractive when people get work done and that their motivation is “self obsession” and “fear.”
The 38-year-old actress - who recently gave birth to her third child with husband Andrew Upton - hates the idea of plastic surgery, and is happy to have some lines on her face.
She said: “For me, I think what will be sexy in 50 years time will be wrinkles.

The NY Daily News reports on a new study in the Journal of Family Psychology that shows that couples are happier and more satisfied in their marriages when the man is less attractive than the woman. This could be partially due to the fact that men, the ones who are traditionally more likely to cheat, are less interested in other women when their wives are hot.
Both spouses tended to behave more positively when wives were more attractive than their husbands and more negatively when husbands were more attractive than their wives,” said the study by UCLA’s Benjamin Karney.
