Angels and Demons is the story of Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon, who works to solve a murder and prevent a terrorist act against the Vatican. The Dan Brown novel was adapted into a screenplay by writer Akiva Goldsman, who lost momentum because of the Hollywood writers strike. Production was postponed and the planned December 2008 release had to be pushed out.

I recently finished Angels and Demons and The DaVinci Code, by Dan Brown. Both are murder mysteries, not just the controversies they were accused of being. Both were well written and fun and interesting.

Villians take a huge part of the story... Their role is to show that humans commit crimes everyday without knowing it. In a sense, it adds a twist because humans are evil and not just them. It is very symbolic to human the flaws in nature.
One of the villians is Lazy the Clown.
This is how Lazy the Clown is created into the story.

I discovered my enjoyment with Dan Brown books in 2000 when while preparing for a trip to Rome I came across Angels & Demons (I was looking for location based fiction). I very much enjoyed the book the subsequent DaVinci Code and Deception Point and his previous novel Digital Fortress. So, I was excited for the release of The Lost Symbol.

In honor of Reading Is Sexy's grand opening, I'm going to start off with the series that's has been holding me in a chockhold for going on 10 years now.
Nora Roberts, writing as JD Robb in her not so far distant future has captured my attention since my very good friend lend me a copy of the 1st of the series, Naked In Death. That copy started me on my 10 year journey of hunting and gathering mission to find and read every one of the books in the series.

You've got a lot of explaining to do. What does "God has left the building" mean?
In the mythology of our show, God has gone missing.

I just finished a couple of books: Angels and Demons, Suze Orman's 2009 Action Plan, and Not Just a Pretty Face.
My next book on my list right now is Rich Dad's Increase Your Financial IQ: Get Smarter with Your Money by Robert Kiyosaki and after that I have nothing else to read. These are all pretty heavy so I'm looking to read something lighthearted.
