So if I asked you, for example, right now — what’s something that’s untrue that you would like to say right now is not true… you wouldn’t know what was untrue that was written about you?

If you asked people at random to describe Filippa Hamilton in a word, you’d hear a lot of synonyms for “gorgeous.” What you wouldn’t hear is “fat.”
And yet the 5-foot-10-inch, 120-pound model says that is essentially why she was fired by Ralph Lauren after eight years with the fashion designer.
“They said I couldn’t fit in their clothes anymore,” the size 4 stunner told TODAY’s Ann Curry Wednesday in New York. Hamilton said that Lauren wrote a letter to her agent saying, “We’re terminating your services because you don’t fit into the sample clothes that you need to wear.”
Ralph Lauren denied that she was fired for being too large.

He’s a bouncing baby boy who could break a knee — a mother in Jakarta, Indonesia, delivered a 19.2-pound, 2-foot-long child on Monday via Caesarean section.
The as-yet-unnamed baby’s arrival, chronicled on TODAY Thursday, was marked by a cry that sounded more like a roar and an appetite of epic proportions.
The big baby, a weight record for a newborn in Indonesia, although a bit short of the world record of 23 pounds set in 1879, was likely caused by his mother having gestational diabetes.

Even in a world with increasingly tough and graphic public service announcements on TV about the dangers of such activities as smoking, a recent PSA originating out of Gwent, Wales, breaks new boundaries in the explicit level of its bloody details.
Two teen girls giggle over a text message they are sending while driving along a country road. Distracted, the driver smashes head-on into another car, and while the bloodied girls exchange dazed glances, a third car careens into the passenger side.

Angie appreciates life more thanks to the world's refugees.these are some snippets of her interview with Today's Show Ann Curry.
On her childhood being much different if she'd grown up knowing what she has learned as a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador:''i think it'll have got me through my youth easier.i would have been less self-destructive....you see people that have suffered things that you will never, ever know. And you know how lucky you are''.
On making sure her children grow up knowing refugees children:''i want them to see it as an area where they can go down the street and play football with those kids and get to know them, and as they grow up,see them as those friends they spend time with.Hopefully i can raise them with a more accurate view of the world than i was raised with, maybe they'll naturally be better people.and i'm sure my children will be visiting and learning from refugees in the future''.

Madonna was interviewed by Anne Curry in a segment that aired on the Today Show this morning, and I tried to view it with an open mind since Madonna normally bugs the hell out of me. I came away from it thinking she’s the same stuck up narcissist she’s always been, but at least she’s doing something good in the world.
Madonna was promoting her documentary “I Am Because We Are,” which is about her “Raising Malawai” organization and includes footage about how she adopted baby David Banda in October, 2006.
