Annette Bening named to movie academy board
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Three-time Oscar nominee Annette Bening has been elected to the governing board of the organization that gives out Hollywood's highest film honors, the Academy Awards, the group said on Monday. Bening, 50, who is married to actor Warren Beatty, will now join the 43-member Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which draws up the rules and regulations for the Academy Awards, or Oscars. The actress is a three-time Oscar nominee for her roles as a con artist in "The Grifters," a suburban housewife and real estate agent in "American Beauty" and an English actress in "Being Julia."Beauty At Every Age
