Audrey Kathleen Ruston was born in Brussels, Belgium, she was the only child of Joseph Hepburn-Ruston, an Anglo-Irish banker, and Baroness Ella van Heemstra, a Dutch aristocrat descended from French nobility and English kings. Her father later appended the name Hepburn to his surname, and her surname became Hepburn-Ruston. She had two half-brothers, Alexander and Ian Quarles van Ufford, by her mother's first marriage to a Dutch nobleman.

BERLIN -- A rare stamp portraying movie star Audrey Hepburn smoking sold for $93,800 (euro67,000) at an auction in Germany on Tuesday.
The Schlegel auction house declined to identify the buyer, who was represented by an agent.
A minimum bid of euro30,000 was set for the stamp, of which only five copies are known to exist.

I've always found it funny that today the celebrities that most people consider as "Fashion Icons" are the ones that have fashion stylists planning their every wardrobe (i.e. Nicole Richie with Rachel Zoe). Or the ones that look like they are in the greatest need of a shower such as Sienna Miller and the Olsen sisters.

Natalie Portman in this pic is definitely (as she does so often) channelling the great fashionista icon, Audrey Hepburn. Here she does it with a shiny, classic, gorgeous dress, an updo (or pixie cut can also do), and black eyeliner that goes just a bit further than your lid. I love this look!
My admiration for Audrey Hepburn's style becomes more apparent.
