Batman star Christian Bale struggled at first with his portrayal of the Caped Crusader - because he found it hard to adopt the superhero’s trademark gruff voice.
The actor insists that when he first took on the role for 2005’s Batman Begins, mastering the character’s deep tones was a real challenge.
But now, with second movie The Dark Knight completed, he can effortlessly slip in to character Bruce Wayne’s voice.

don’t think I’m the only one to hope this is just a baseless rumor. The next “Batman” sequel in the new franchise has been languishing since the unexpected death of Heath Ledger. Clearly, the filmmakers couldn’t simply recast the role, so they decided to go in a different direction and explore other Batman villains.

I really liked this film. I'm a huge fan of comic book movies (though not a huge fan of comic books lol) and this was a really great one. I wouldn't, however, call it a prequel.

The Dark Knight has only been out for a couple of weeks and already buzz is starting on the sequel. It’s sad that Heath Ledger won’t be able to reprise his brilliantly creepy Joker, it looks like director Christopher Nolan is looking to tap another big Hollywood name to play the villain. 60s TV catwoman, Julie Newmar, says that Angelina Jolie would “own the part” and claims that she’s asked about it:
Hollywood beauty ANGELINA JOLIE has been tipped to play CATWOMAN in a future BATMAN movie - by the actress who made the role famous, JULIE NEWMAR.

I got to say, as far as rumors go I don’t think people are trying very hard anymore. The Dark Knight, has become the most successful of the Batman movies. Warner Bros expects the film to make about $530m and speculation has been crazy about who would take a turn as the next villain.

Gillian Anderson has been racking her brains for reasons as to why the X-Files film 'I Want To Believe' is doing so badly at the box office. Well, it's hardly the biggest mystery she's ever had to investigate, is it? Something to do with rubbish plot, a tired-out franchise and a world which has moved on since the last instalment two hundred years ago?

New York magazine film critic David Edelstein is public enemy number one after publishing the first negative review of the much-anticipated and lauded The Dark Knight. Batman fans and fellow critics are firing back, saying he just didn’t “get” the film. Edelstein gave the film a negative review due to violence and “morbid” factors that seem related to Ledger’s untimely death:
The momentum doesn’t carry through, though.

fights off evil-doers to save the world, but Hong Kong's polluted harbour is, apparently, one death-defying stunt too far.
Producers shooting the next Batman movie have been forced to cut one scene involving the caped crusader -- played by Christian Bale -- jumping out of a plane into the city's famed Victoria Harbour.
According to the South China Morning Post, producers felt the poor water quality was just too dangerous for the action hero when shooting for part of the film takes place here in the coming week.
