One woman made a career out of capturing expectant ladies in a state of belly worship. Renowned photographer, Jennifer Loomis has photographed more than1,500 women with child and is currently writing a book about celebrating the full form. We were lucky enough to ask the shutterbug a few questions about striking a pose while pregnant.

Belly WorshipI had my baby girl 18 months ago. Up until that time, I pretty much despised my tummy. It's probably my least attractive attribute about me.

Here is my enormous belly, tow weeks before I gave birth to my first. My belly grew even bigger than this. I look at my 5-year-old and it seems like yesterday that I was preggo with her.

I've been really wanting my husband to paint my belly lately and LilSugar's Belly Worship group gave me the perfect excuse! We broke out the paint and the dad-to-be tried his hardest to replicate the LilSugar logo. I think he did a great job!

I just found out that a girl I work with is 7 months pregnant (I guess wearing scrubs hides the belly well). To be honest I felt kind of jealous. I know so many women (many who are around my age) that are pregnant or have had babies in the last couple of years.

Most of my life I've often wondered why Thanksgiving seemed to be for many families a trigger word for family dysfuction. Why individuals couldn't just let that disagreement with another family member go for one bloody day and enjoy some good food and conversation with more pleasant family members. I have to keep reminding my self that I'm pragmatic by nature and that is apparently unusual.
I found an article with some helpful tips.
Holidays are meant to be happy, joyous and life-affirming times.
