It must be a slow news day in the U.K., too, because Amanda Platell, controversial celebrity columnist for the Daily Mail, is looking to pick a fight with Bob Geldof. Bob’s 19-year-old daughter Peaches, whose mother, Paula Yates, died of a heroin overdose in 2000, reportedly overdosed on an unnamed drug a few days ago. Platell, who has written about “Saint Bob’s” lax parenting style in the past, says he’s to blame.

Peaches Geldolf Peaches Geldof, the child of the rock 'n' roll couple before Amy Winehouse and Blake Civil-Fielder were even a twinkle in the media eye, Bob Geldof and Paula Yates seems to be getting herself into the fashion industry. The 18 year old budding DJ and journalist has turned her hand to modelling with an Australian fashion chain "Dotti", this being the results of her first ever photo shoot. Peaches has been compared to her rock 'n' roll mother Paula Yates who also tried modelling at the same, although that was far racier as she stripped for Penthouse, even Peaches platinum blonde hair and pouting red lips have conjured images of her demised mother Paula.

Peaches Geldolf at LFW There she is looking fashionably sulky and cross as she pouts her way down the catwalk for PPQ but she has no reason to be as she's been partying her killer heels off. Spotted in Manhattan's trendy Meat Packing District with her older wannabe entourage, it seems that she's gained entry in amongst New York's biggest and most determined thrill seekers. Lately she's been spotted in the hottest hot spots, working the room with the rest of the air-kissing tribe, saying that she's going to make this move to the Big Apple and the Bohemian circles a permanent one, although Daddy Geldof says something different, saying that next year she's off to University.

This is the controversial Get Stupid video that Madonna shows during her Sticky & Sweet Tour, which groups John McCain in with leaders like Hitler, Chinese premier Wen Jiabao, Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, and Kim Jong Il and Mike Huckabee, while grouping Obama with the Dalai Lama, Al Gore, Bob Geldof, Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Michael Moore, Bill Gates, JFK, and Bono.
John McCain spokesperson Tucker Bounds says, "The comparisons are outrageous, unacceptable and crudely divisive all at the same time. It clearly shows that when it comes to supporting Barack Obama, his fellow worldwide celebrities refuse to consider any smear or attack off limits."
