Pet Store Catering to Britney, Paris Closed Down
Pets of Bel Air, a high-end store frequented by celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, was closed down Tuesday by Los Angeles officials for operating without a license. Ed Boks, general manager of Los Angeles Animal Services, said, "We did shut [Pets of Bel Air] down and they have 48 hours to bring their permits into compliance." The store has been a target of The Humane Society of the United States, which alleges Pets of Bel Air gets dogs from puppy mills in the Midwest.Micro - Pig
