Brad & Angie look their usual stunning selves at the Critics Choice Awards on Thursday night.
Angie is a Grecian Goddess in a flowing Max Azria gown, while Brad looks dapper in Tom Ford.
While neither Angie or Brad won their respective awards, I'm sure it was just an honor being nominated.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were the last stars - right after George Clooney - to arrive at the Critics Choice Awards in Santa Monica tonight. That meant they had a great excuse not to waste half an hour talking to reporters about their family, the election, the writers strike and/or the cancelled Golden Globes. Show handlers shouted to them, "The show is starting! Everyone has to come inside now!"

Even before Barack Obama was elected to the presidency, Rupert Murdoch had declared war on him via the personalities of Fox News Channel, a subsidiary of Murdoch's media conglomerate, News Corp.
Since Obama's election, the cable channel's hosts and paid analysts have launched a full frontal assault on the president, smearing his nominees, calling him a racist and suggesting that his administration was trying to persuade disabled veterans to off themselves.
Now the fearmongers at Fox are crying foul since the president and his aides declared Fox not to be a news organization.

Asked to comment on the uproar following Friday's announcement, four members of the five-seat panel told The Associated Press that they had expected the decision to generate both surprise and criticism.

I´m meeting Robert Pattinson at a restaurant along the Croisette in Cannes. The film company hasn´t disclosed time and place until the day before but somewhere it leaks. A gossip blogger tweets about it and hours before the worlds hottest and most hunted 23-year old is in the house fans and paparazzi gather around the place. They have bodyguards in every corner of the restaurant.

Obama's Health Care Plan: Put Up And Shut Up
Shikha Dalmia,
The president's speech was the policy equivalent of the middle finger.
For several months now, the American people--as if exhorted by the ghost of William F. Buckley (no particular hero of mine)--have been standing athwart the Democratic agenda of socialized medicine, yelling, "Stop!"

Does God Favor an Unlimited State?
By Mark Tooley on 9.8.09 @ 6:07AM
The Religious Left sacramentalizes nearly every proposed expansion of the Welfare State, with government-controlled health care its favorite sacrament. Supporting arguments are usual superficial: Jesus loved the poor, therefore the state must displace all other human institutions and provide every human need.
