Nixon’s mother is a two time breast cancer survivor, and Nixon herself was diagnosed with the disease in 2006. Cynthia Nixon Teaches Her Kids to Give Back
As high-power attorney Miranda Hobbes on Sex and the City, Cynthia Nixon's character wasn’t exactly working pro-bono. In real life though, the actress is serious about giving back to the community – and she's got her kids helping out as well. I'm pretty sure we're all familiar with the Sex and The City TV series so I'll skip the summary of what the movie version is about. In other words I don't want to accidentally spill a spoiler for those who haven't seen it so I'll just break my review down to the Pros and Cons of the 148 minutes movie. How very Miranda of me.
Penélope Cruz Makes a Sex/City Cameo

The Sex and the City sequel just got a little more fabulous. Along with the original fab four – Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristen Stewart and Cynthia Nixon – Penélope Cruz and Liza Minnelli are both appearing along with Jason Lewis, who is reprising his role as Samantha's younger ex. Despite previous reports, Cruz doesn't play herself in the film.
