First of all, Kristen Stewart showed up to the event sporting some short hair in an all-black ensemble. The actress was adamant in continuing to deny any rumors of a real-life romance with Robert Pattinson.Stewart seemed upbeat when she addressed the audience and announced, "The whole rumor, tabloid stuff, it's so obviously false." She added, "I don't take it personally, because I have gotten so much experience with this, it's gotten easier."However, she admits that she can "understand that people have a hard time seeing us outside of our characters."

Filming for Eclipse, the third movie in The Twilight Saga has entered the last month of filming, but from the looks of the snapshot from the set today, some of the most exhilarating scenes are still being filmed. The newest addition to the Twilight cast is Australian hottie Xavier Samuel and he was spotted filming in Vancouver on Friday. Xavier and Bryce Dallas Howard, who replaced Rachelle Lefevre as the villainous vampire Victoria, have become friends off the set as well, as they two have been spotted palling around the streets of Vancouver together.Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have been filming the movie in Vancouver but have all had a chance to spend time off set, catching concerts and going to parties with each other.Twilight fans are anxiously anticipating the release of the second Twilight movie New Moon on November 20.

Barack Obama's Civilian Army
Thursday, August 27, 2009 By Glenn Beck FNC
Thursday's show, I believe, it's the most controversial of all the shows this week — and maybe ever.
I will give you some facts, some history but also some of the future.
The reason Thursday's show is the last before Friday's solution, I wanted you to see who was advising the president and what they are doing, before I could ask you to look at this phrase from Barack Obama and think he meant it literally:
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
THEN-PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE BARACK OBAMA: We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set.

Nate Archibald, the prep-school poster boy of all things physically right about American youth today, has a terrible father but a family legacy that keeps him afloat in Gossip Girl limos and designer cardigans. Last we saw Nate, he was headed to Columbia University, but not before he and Blair broke up at the prom and he headed off to Europe on a backpacking trip with his former flame Vanessa. Nate Archibald’s real-life counterpart, on the other hand, has an extremely supportive father—and mother for that matter, who during this interview was helping her son move from the apartment he shared with Gossip Girl co-star Ed Westwick to his own two-bedroom in Manhattan’s Financial District—but the 24-year-old actor had no Hollywood legacy to help him coast into the loafers of one of teenage fandom’s dreamiest heartthrobs.

Rachelle Lefevre WILL NOT RETURN as the villain Victoria on the third sequel of the Twilight Saga, ECLIPSE, according to Summit Entertainment on Tuesday. Rachelle was shocked about the announcement even stating that she'd turned down different movie opportunities and accepted those with short shooting schedules because of her dedication to the saga and contract with Summit.
Rachelle had committed herself to Barney's Version for 10 days and Summit found it conflicting to Eclipse and decided to recast the role.

Sexier, tougher, naked-er. That just about sums up the second season of HBO's vampire drama 'True Blood.' (Yeah, this definitely isn't 'Twilight.') Star Anna Paquin loves that "anything is possible" on her show -- even if it involves a lot of nudity.

Going wobbly in the West
By Mark Steyn
'It is hard to understand this deal," said Richard Holbrooke, President Obama's special envoy. And, if the special envoy of the so-called smartest and most impressive administration in living memory can't understand it, what chance do the rest of us have?
Nevertheless, let's try.
