My friend Dear Sugar has a poll on resolutions for you all to take.
Hope all is going well. I am managing to eat something green every day - it might only be lettuce on a hamburger, but it is green.

When choosing your maid of honor, brides tend to extend the invitation to their closest girlfriend or sister, sometimes even their mother. The MOH acts as your right hand woman throughout the entire wedding planning process, she stands next to you at your ceremony, helps you get ready, supports you, toasts you, and plans your fun filled bachelorette party.
Trusting someone to play such a big role in your wedding is a serious responsibility, so if you had to choose a celebrity to be your maid of honor, whom would you pick?

Celebrities always seem to look amazing. Not only are they beautiful, but also they have a team of hair and make up people to make sure everything is perfectly in place. With fashion and jewelry designers chomping at the bit to dress their favorite stars, it is no wonder celebrity brides are absolute stunners.

Once the bride is dressed, made up, and ready to go, it is crucial that the bridal party does everything in their power to keep the bride out of the groom's sight... for the sake of tradition of course. Did you buy yourself a sexy negligee for your wedding night or did your maid of honor light candles and scatter rose petals around your honeymoon suite? While it is expected that all couples consummate their marriage on their wedding night, oftentimes the bride and groom are more concerned about getting some much needed shut eye than actually getting busy. On the other hand, some couples can't wait to make love for the first time as husband and wife.

Nowadays most brides and grooms give each other a special gift right before walking down the aisle, typically delivered by the best man and maid of honor. What I want to know is, did you buy your groom a wedding day gift?

Before women had such a strong presence in the work place, they almost always changed their names after getting married. Throughout the years, times have changed and women have worked incredibly hard to gain notoriety, both personally and professionally, leaving some reluctant to give up their recognizable last name.
So all you women out there who are engaged and or newly married, are you planning on taking on your husband's last name?

On a balmy autumn day in Vancouver, a young man is longing for a walk outside in the sunshine, and deciding against it. Far easier for him to stay in his hotel room, cocooned in five-star luxury with a mobile phone that has run out of charge, safe at least from the girls chanting his name outside. Robert Pattinson, 23 and from Barnes in southwest London, ought still to be one of Hollywood’s beautiful dreamers, moving up the ranks of movie acting, enjoying his American adventure, his guitar, his good looks.
